“Nice tour, definitely worth the stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

The brewery tour was rather quick, but interesting. And the beer is so tasty. I wish we could buy it in the States!

“Must Do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2011

We visited the Steam Whistle Brewery with our daughter (13) and son (9). We homeschool so we consider this educational for them and fun for us parents. I paid $10 for the "Souvenir" tour and my husband got the $15 "Six-pack" tour. The children were free. Our tour guide, Julie, was great and really seemed to love her job. They have one beer, a pilsner, which is excellent and European style. They distributed headphones and receivers for the tour and lots of samples. At the end of the tour my son was asked to pull the cord for the steam whistle in the brewery. Every employee at the brewery was friendly. I wish we had that beer here.

“Fun Place to Visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2011

We picked this place to visit because of reviewers! The tour guide was very helpful and we enjoyed the taste of beer!! If you happen to be in Toronto near CN Tower or go to the Blue Jays games, be sure to stop by and have a taste of a beer or two! We enjoyed this place and would like to come back!!

“Most inexpensive fun you'll have in Toronto!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2011

We loved this Brewery Tour! We were greeted with beer, got beer on the tour and beer after the Tour - what is not to love? We did the "souvenir tour" for $10/each. We had a choice between a pilsner glass or a bottle opener & we opted for one of each. The tour was informative (the Roundhouse has historical significance in the city) and fun. And for $20.00, it was one of the least expensive attractions in the city AND you get free beer! Definitely make this a stop on your visit to Toronto.

“Well worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2011

Without TA I don't think we would have sought out this attraction so we have fellow travellers to thank.
We both took the $15 tour which includes a 6 pack of beer. This was terrific value as we saw the same 6 pack retailing at $12.95 in Beer World.
Our host Shane was entertaining and informative. He was humerous without being OTT for the whole 45 minutes. There was a wide range of ages and mix of sexes in our group and everyone found it interesting.
It started with a beer tasting to wet your appetite and we were lucky that our visit coincided with new bottles rolling off the production line so we were treated to a bottle that had only left the production line minutes earlier. We then finished the tour with another sample!
In our opinion a must do.
