My family and I visited the Fort over the weekend. My dad had been here previously and was so looking forward to the reenactments and the activity. He said what we experienced was about 10% of what it used to be. The buildings used to have a lot of activity with people doing things. Now most are locked. There are new signs, etc. telling what the building is or any interesting tibdits. Only a few were open. We had more fun at the native encampment which is just outside the Fort walls. Budget cuts are hitting this beautiful park too. That's too bad because it could be a real draw for people coming to Thunder Bay.
