“1st lunch in TBay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013 via mobile

We searched CAA guide. Wanted something on the water front. Impressive location! Great waiter -knowledgable and helpful. We would highly recommend the veggie burger and pizza. Large servings though - we just had the the left overs for our dinner in a cabin near Wawa! We would go back for the view and the food!

“Loved the restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

The food was fantastic! We were there for lunch and enjoyed it so much we went back the day for dinner. Excellent meals! My daughter the vegetarian rated the veggie burger the best she'd ever had. Homemade ketchup, buns, etc. - all fresh and made from scratch with some inventive combinations and additions. And the fizzy apple cider - I'm going to try to copy it, it was SO GOOD!

“Bight Bites”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Extremely slow service. Wine list with most selections unavailable. Unoriginal menu with items very similar to other restaurants in the city. Beef tenderloin ordered rare and came well done. Uninspiring, tasteless side dishes. Great location and view it is too bad the service and food don't match.

“Great food, slllllowwwww service.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

We got to town late and Bight was one of a few restaurants open. Very hip young crowd, very nice building. Food is excellent, staff is very nice, service is very very slow. Still a nice place place to eat, local meats, produce and cheeses.

“View, amosphere, food quality totally negated by poor service!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

Carbon copy of other recent reviews. Avoid this restaurant if you expect reasonably prompt service and no apologies for the lack of it. Wished we hadn't ordered desert because we had such a long, long wait for our meals. When the discussion at your table about service (or more specifially lack of it) takes over all other subjects at a nice family outing that's the final straw for this family. We actually asked for our check and paid while waiting for our desert to be delivered. Thought of leaving before the desert was delivered even though we had paid for it.
We had our out of town children (who grew up here) & our grandaughter with us trying to impress them how Thunder Bay was maturing. The restaurant has no high chairs or booster seats and again no apologies for it.
During the 2 hours plus it took us to have lunch we noticed 4 other families with infants sitting on their laps.
I have now been to this restaurant 4 times sinced it opened. Same experience 3 out of 4. I am sorry but it is time for the restaurant owners to read some of these reviews. We eat out a lot. There are much better choices in Thunder Bay.
