“If you like high prices then...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2011

The food is OK but very, very, very overpriced. I did like the atmosphere tho. Service was adequate. However; it's the only place in town where you can get hash browns and corned beef hash.

If Canadians dined in the U.S. they'd faint to see how low the prices are. More should complain about the outrageous prices found in Canada..!

“Clean place, nice staff food is okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2011

Nice clean place with all day breakfast and friendly staff. The food was okay. The kids enjoyed their pancakes with sprinkles. The portions are big, but the food was pretty
bland and generic. Friendly staff there.

“GOOD FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, EXCELLENT PRICES”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2011

For the past three years, my friends and I have met at Perkin's Restaurant at least two or three times a month. You get fast service, a clean establishment, experienced staff and excellent prices.

You order from a menu and within 10 minutes the food is cooked and delivered to your table. This is not a four star restaurant, but if you want good fresh food at a reasonable price, then you have to stop at Perkin's Restaurant located on Paris Street (attached to the Travel Lodge Hotel).

They also sell wonderful pies and muffins, so make sure you purchase one to take home as a snack with your coffee or tea!

“ARTERY-CLOGGING AND UNHEALTHY FRANCHISE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2011

Perkins is one of the most stubborn franchises that continue to use TRANS-FAT in all of their cooking! I was so disppointed recently to be told by one waitress that they use becel, but manager brought out container that clearly said transfat which is banned in many cities in US. This kind of fat is well researched to worsen heart disease and banned in many cities like new york and san francisco. They do have good dishes and variety but we will never come back until they change.

“You'll love Perkins.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2010

Just like the ad says..we as a group stopped at this place en route home from the north. Considering it was the start of a holiday weekend, they were ready for us. We four were quickly seated; menus brought right away. We were hungry and had the longest part of our trip ahead. I ordered eggs benedict (full size) It was scrumptious and generous in portion, as was my husband's. Another lady (smartly) ordered senior eggs benedict (their senior portaions are fab) so she wasn't so stuffed as we. There was fresh salad and fruit to complement our choices. We even had enough fruit to share.
All in all it was a lovely experience. And very reasonable: our bill for two totally filled up adults was $30. Don't miss it!
