“Amazing zoo experince”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

I love supporting our local zoo. I go nearly every year and I still haven't done or seen everything yet. It is very clean, the animals seem happy, and there is so much for the kids to do. From the splash pad, to paddle boats, and the rope courses, even carnival rides. Its a great zoo at a great price. I will be going again for sure.

“Best little zoo around- great for all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Really like have such a well kept place so close to home. You get to see the animals up close and they appear well kept and nourished. Lovely grounds. Really great fun for the young and old. Enjoyed the train rides .

“Be aware: it's not a safari at all.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This place looks pretty old and there are not much to do with children, nor too many interesting animals. Most of the territory has lack of shadow, so be prepared and take a sunscreen and cream with you.
The name “Safari” is actually a fake since you are not allowed to drive there. It looks like a zoo of a poor quality, but not like safari at all. The only vehicle is the small train that goes around the park and stops at designated places every 10-15 minutes. However, it is often overcrowded with people, so you have to miss one or two until there are places to seat.

“Grandkids loved it.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Be sure to go in the fall or spring when it's cool. The big cats are more apt to be out and if so you will be very close to them. Interacting with the giraffes was a great experience for the kids. The staff very very pleasant and helpful and the grounds were quite clean.
