We were looking for a place to stop for a forecast rain day on our motorcycle tour of Northern Ontario.
We chose the Water Tower Inn because of it's obvious motorcycle friendly attitude (free bike lock-up for those want it), stayed for two nights and were not disappointed.
The staff were friendly and efficient. It has a very nice indoor pool, indoor and outdoor whirlpools, a sauna and a well equipped gym. It has an onsite Casey's restaurant that appears to go beyond that chain's normal menu (for instance they serve a decent breakfast) and also a Pub with a fair selection of beers on tap. The Pub apparently has entertainment several nights a week (Blues Wednesdays, Jazz Fridays and various acts on Saturdays) but unfortunately we were there on Sunday and Monday nights so can't comment
The room we had was well appointed with a comfortable bed (two actually), refrigerator, flat screen TV and a clean modern bathroom.
The location itself is not scenic but it does have a nice courtyard to sit in and is close to shopping and other restaurants etc.
All in all it was a great place to stop for a rest day on our long bike tour and spend some time in the pool/spa while staying out of the rain.
We had a room overlooking the courtyard and it was nice and quiet and probably a better view than lo...
