Stayed three nights...this is a relatively new hotel, very clean, very modern, and had all the amenities one would expect. Breakfast was good, and we have to say the best thing about the hotel was the extremely cheerful breakfast host. On the downside, we were there during heating season and found the heating system and fan in the room noisier than most (and we travel alot); whenever it clicked on during the night, it woke us up. For this reason alone, we won't stay here again.

This hotel is new, very well maintained, rooms are well appointed, staff welcoming and
friendly, and the buffet breakfast has great selection.
I have one small concern: there was an exterior light right outside our room (ground floor), that was so bright that the curtains could not totally darken the room.
Will definitely return.

While on a cross country road trip we chose to stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Sault Ste. Marie. What an excellent choice. Upon arrival the very welcoming front desk staff offered helpful information and upgraded us to a beautiful King Suite.

The Hotel is located in a newer end of the City on the Trans Canada Highway, surrounded by nearby restaurants, shops, a liquor store across the street and a short drive to the Downtown Waterfront. My wife and I had a nice walk along the waterfront boardwalk, had a look at the nearby historic canal system, took in some shopping at the mall and tried our luck at Casino Sault Ste. Marie. The (first Canadian female astronaut) Roberta Bondar Pavilion and marina is also located along the Downtown Waterfront.

Our spacious room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool (albeit small) and the jacuzzi. Breakfast was enjoyable. We enjoy staying at the Fairfield Inns and this is one of the nicer ones. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in mid September on a road trip. From the moment you arrive you can tell this is a classy hotel. It was our first time at a Fairfield Inn and it won't be the last. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very tastefully decorated with bold splashes of colour, all very clean and well-maintained. The room was the same standard with a slightly larger bathroom than other groups, quiet and effective air conditioning, good storage, a fridge and microwave. There is a pool and exercise room and internet in the lobby. It has everything you need. The breakfast room is bright and welcoming and feels homely. It is located close to shops and restaurants and we can recommend the Boston Pizza (sports bar) right opposite the hotel which has helpful staff and a good menu. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and can't wait to try another Fairfield Inn.
