River Brink Art Museum is another reason to visit Queenston. Its the home to the Weir Collection, an impressive collection of early Canadian art work, furniture and library. Great spot to visit If you're interested in Canadian art, (Krieghoff, Thompson, Sebron, etc.) or want to know a bit more history of the Niagara area. I visited this summer and took advantage of the Queenston walking tour, offered for $5 per person, which also included admission to the museum. The personalized walk took in the main street of Queenston, where my guide pointed out several features which have almost disappeared ...an old street car line, a marina which served visitors from USA side of the river, etc.
