“Excellent fish!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

Waiter suggested the special of the day - pan seared halibut with gnocchi. Fantastic dish! However the waiter though he was a stand up comic....not funny at all

“Great outdoor atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013 via mobile

Went here for lunch with my husband. We are here for a convention and found it as we were out exploring the city. Pretty courtyard setting. Live music with a couple of singer/musicians. The food is good but not great. Nice drink selection.

Enjoy!!

“Contemporary French Bistro”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

This is an average three star Bistro on its best night. Ours was not one of those nights. I downgraded it because, one, our service was slow the night we went. Our very kind waiter explained he was held up by another table which asked for coffee and dessert and the machine was problematic.

A fair response, but I saw no Manager, let alone hostess on duty, who might have been able to intercede while we waited for twenty minutes to be acknowledged.

Our meals were subpar during our visit. We were a party of six. Two of our party had substandard mussels, the French Onion soup was bland at best, and the soup of the day, carrot and ginger soup was awful. No one raved about their meal, including those who tried the lobster Mac and cheese.

My oysters were excellent. Maybe you should stick to happy hour and oysters.

“Oysters”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013 via mobile

They have happy hour that features oysters on the half shell for $1 each and fresh mussels in several choices of sauces that are very refreshing. Outdoor patio is a good downtown location to relax and people watch

“Very good burgers. Expensive. Chic. Very loud.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Splashy place, very attractively designed, but the incredibly noisy acoustic, due to exclusively hard surfaces is a serious oversight. It quickly becomes difficult to converse with your date or with friends and ultimately largely takes from the overall experience of enjoyment here. Service attempts to be good, coming on strongly at first, then often waning after the first drink arrives. The food is usually, but not always properly cooked and sometimes has arrived less than hot. I like the look and feel of the place a lot. I think the prices are unrealistically high for a bistro, even a good one. The noise especially is what keeps me from returning as often as I might otherwise. That, and the high bill shock when it is presented. This establishment still could run a very profitable business with significantly lower prices and people would leave happier and be more inclined to return.
