We came here for a belated birthday celebration. Dishes we ordered included the lobster supper, the trout, scallops, and the salmon dish. All were beautifully presented with a wonderful assortment of fresh vegetables: kale, turnip, parsnip, carrot etc... The restaurant even accomodated a garlic allergy. The lobster bisque was delicious, as was the clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. We were provided with endless rolls and water glasses were refilled. What made this place so special however, was the service. Our waiters were extremely attentive and conversational, which seems hard to find these days. For dessert we finished off our meals with creme brulees and chocolate cakes. The only thing I could suggest is perhaps the chocolate cake be entitled "the naked cake" because although the cake is delicious there is no icing. The tables are tight and packed in to this smaller restaurant but it makes the atmosphere cosy and warm.
The dinner specials looked amazing - artic char, or linguine with crab and whitefish..another day...We will be returning!
