This restaurant is very conviniently located on Clarence Street, just a stone throw away from the famous Byward market. Probably that's the only good thing about the restaurant. Three of us visited here yesterday and left very unhappy, would never return back. We ordered cocktails, they seemed to be without any alcohol or heavily watered down. The entree was served cold and nowhere nearly tasted as its supposed to be. I'm an Indian, lived most of my life in India and know Indian food well. The main course arrived after 45 mins long wait. We ordered garlic naan, what we were served was a plain naan coated with onion paste. And the chef forgot to add any salt in the shrimp curry. We informed the waitress about the missing salt in the dish and that we didn't like garlic naan as its coated with onion paste. She said she get salt added in the dish and get us plain naan instead, as the way they make garlic naan is the same. We were hungry, and happily agreed. After 10 mins of wait owner appeared, he said that you didn't like the food so you can just pay for the drinks and leave. He said probably you have never run a restaurant. We for sure hadnt run a restaurant
but have been eating indian food for last 30 years. We were aghast to see the impudence of the manager, having waited for more than one hour and still leaving out hungry. It wasted precious time of our trip to Ottawa. This restaurant was the worst experience I ever had, and I hope it remains unsurpassed.
