Open about six weeks, the Parlour is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. A small step up in price, and an enormous one in quality. The menu is very creative, especially the daily specials which tend to get away from the traditional pizza and pasta, offering items such as baked haddock. The traditionals are still there, often with new twists. Portions are very generous. Staff friendly and attentive. They also feature a wide selection of craft beers. The food is scratch made and delicious. Ideal for special family occasions, romantic dates, and single diners. I really hope they do well. .The only small quibble was that my spaghetti was cooked a minute or so more than ideal, sauce was delicious and the meat balls huge, tasty and home made. The accompanying salad was delicious, fresh and attractively presented. The home made bread was a real surpprise and excellent.
