It's in our 'hood. We don't have the kind of life where we can book a reservation, and whenever we walked by, they never had space, or it was a weird time and was closed. Took a chance on the last day of a long weekend, and got in for an early dinner. The service was great. Our server was very congenial, helpful and attentive. Not pushy and not painfully hip ;) We weren't ravenous, so we just ordered za. We each got one, and were warned that for some it's more than enough. Hubby finished his, I had half to go for a midnight snack. I had the wild boar. It was very very good. With the cheese and carmalised apple, the salty, sweet, meaty tastes balanced nicely. Hubby had the Capricciosa sans the meat. He devoured it. Always a good sign. The thin crust brought us happy memories of the awesome thin crusts we enjoyed in Naples. Would have liked a few more options, but I suppose I could have mixed and matched my own blend. Would also have considered an appetiser, if there'd been a few more non meaty options. Likewise with desert, after pizza, I would've considered if there was something a little less sugary on the menu - but that's just me.
