We stayed for 3 nights with a group of friends in their studio, 1 & 2 bedroom suites and everyone had the same thing to say. The beds are tiny, way too small for 2 adults to sleep in. The suites need to be updated, particularly the bathrooms and kitchens which were all very tired and showing signs of heavy use.
The staff were all very friendly and efficient and the food in the restaurant was good quality.
The location is not great, it's a long walk to get into the action. While there is parking underneath the hotel they charge a daily fee for it which we only found out about when we checked out which was an unpleasant surprise. Charging for parking is not something we are used to and is a petty money grab on the part of the hotel especially since they own the garage.
I wouldn't stay here again because it just isn't up to our standards.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for providing feedback from your recent stay at Minto Suite Hotel. I was disappointed to read that we did not meet your standards, but would like to thank you for acknowledging our friendly staff. I would also like to thank you for bringing your suggestions regarding updating our suites to my attention. Through comments like yours we are looking at updating our suites in the near future, and we are continually able to improve for future guest experiences. While the building’s parking garage does charge a daily fee, you will find this is among the best value for downtown hotels. There are also various packages available to our guests with some including complimentary parking. We are sorry that we did not exceed your expectations and appreciate your feedback. We do hope you will give us the opportunity to host you again in the future.
Sincerely,
David Zaltzman
