I couldn't agree more with previous reviews about this hotel's location - very walkable to most attractions in the city. The bustling lobby could use a facelift - very dated in feel, but the fireplace was welcoming on a cold March day. The Starbucks down the hallway was also dingy and tables didn't look like they had been cleared all afternoon. My room did not face onto the lovely park in the front, but was on a corner looking onto an office building of some sort with massive construction across the street. The room's decor was very dark with an early 1990s vibe. Nevertheless, the beds and linens were very comfortable and I had one of the best sleeps in a long time. I felt the towels were a bit scratchy and greyish in colour and a weird toilet flush handle that pulls UP to flush. I'm not sure that I would use this hotel again. Its serviceable and just okay.
