“Well worth a trip. Free tours”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

You would need to be in line by 8:30 to get free tour tickets as they are limited and go away soon. Pick center building tour. It takes about 2 hr for the tour.

“Take a tour of the Parliament Buildings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

The exterior of the building is an impressive sight, but step inside and you'll be in awe. I recommend that you take the free guided tour that is offered so that you can gain an understanding of how the parliamentary system works.

“Changing of the Guard”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

Very British in character - shades of Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace but with a Canuck twist.

“Feel what means to be Canadian... on July 1st”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

The atmosphere is great, the joy and excitement of Canadians from all walks of life reunite at Parliament Hill every 1st of July to Celebrate Canada Day. Fireworks and shows are amazing. The place to be.... When it comes to food you need to be a little patient because all the restaurants will be full.... and will take a while to get served... but other than that is a day to remember... besides, every day you can catch a tour to see the parliament from inside, the library, etc. you can take a walk by the Canal, go the Museums that are located close.

“Interesting tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

The Parliament buildings inside and out are impressive. We had a guided tour which was very interesting. Parliament should have been in session but fortunately for us, due to a political problem, the start had been delayed so we got to see inside the chambers. Don't miss the stunning library.
