“Wow Great Atmosphere & Freedom & Fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

After being ripped off and shafted at Wild Water Kingdom I looked for an alternative to take my kids for an all-day swim. I was directed by a neighbor to Bronte Creek... wow what a difference. I was charged only $16 for a full minivan of people and we were allowed to BBQ right on the fence of the swimming pool, not only that we were also allowed to ingress food into the actual pool area.

I loved the atmosphere and the huge space of green areas with their picnic tables, shade from trees was scarce but again you go out in the summer to get tanned right? It was a relief to find out that right smack in the middle of the huge green area there's a cabin containing 4 washrooms, I was mesmerized to see that the washrooms looked like your own washrooms and not like a public washroom! I also liked how the area was patrolled by car and by foot but that the staff never bothered you for your BBQ-ing or because you had so many lawn chairs spread out in the grass. For once in my life (at a provincial park) I felt true freedom.

The swimming pool is huge and can be an adult or a fun kids' pool at the same time, it's huge and round and your kids can swim all around it without fear because there's no "edge" where they can fall to the deep end, to reach the deep end you have to walk and walk to the center, smart layout! I totally recommend this place to anybody!

“Love the pool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Pool is excellent for kids. We went with our 10 month old and he loved it. The entry price is a little steep for our liking though ($16 for the car to get into the park, and then another few dollars for the pool).

“great park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Bronte Creek is a beautiful getaway right in town. It is massive with lots of green space and areas for family fun. We went with a group of about 10 friends for a May 2-4 BBQ. It was very peaceful, spacious and beautiful

“Good Mountain Bike riding along the Bronte Creek Gorge on the Campground Side”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

The campgound side of the park is entered from the Bronte Road side of the Park. If you are cycling or walking you can enter for free and the single track ride along the edge of the Bronte Creek gorge is fabulous with just enough difficulty to keep it entertaining without being "extreme". Go there with my wife and kid + kids friends - they enjoy it.

“Great for kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Huge pool and activities at the day use side if you have kids. If not there is hiking and biking trails along the ravine and local shopping is literally right outside the park. We always visit The Royal Botanical Gardens when we camp here and we plan to head out to more local hiking trails next year.
