This is the best price for a Wonderland package I could find. Free breakfast, a pool and 5 minutes to the park. The service was great and the rooms were nice.

My recent stay at the Travelodge in North York was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room I had was excellent, very clean and dust free. The bathroom was also very well keep. The area did not look the best but it was safe and with only a 3 to 5 min car ride to the best shopping in Toronto. They did not have a restaurant on site but the Front Desk was very helpful in finding a great restaurant near the hotel and the free cont breakfast was a bonus.
My seven day stay at the North York Travelodge was not pleasant. The bathrooms were full of mildew. There were no hooks or laundry lines to hang anything wet. The dust under the tv and on the headboards was thick. The pillows were terribly flat. The blankets were ragged. The room had a terrible smell, most likely from the rug.
My recent stay was an eye opener to the area of North York. The only saving grace was that the hotel is located next to the North York, Ontario Police Station. As well as the fact it was close to my destination of Canada’s Wonderland. The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom however was not the best. The ceiling in the shower was mildew with the paint peeling off. But what do you expect for the price. I guess it was fitting. My first stop outside of the hotel at the nearest mall. I found very few people that spoke English as a first language or French as a first language. I speak Spanish but nobody spoke a language from the western Hemisphere expect the nearby police officer on patrol in the parking lot. After introducing myself as visiting law enforcement officer he welcomed me to the expression of “Welcome to the armpit of Toronto.” He continued to tell me of the nearby gang problems, drug crimes, and etc. Next time I will pay more and stay farther away from Canada’s Wonderland!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The hotel did appear safe, due to its close proximity to the police station. But I prefer to be able to walk around in peace and speak a little English to accomplish a few tasks.
When I got to my room it was very nice, Lots of furniture and it all looked brand new and modern, nice big desk, with office chair. the room was smallish, but thats not a big deal. When I went to have a cigarette, I realized that there there was no ashtray and they had mistakenly given me a non smoking room. I got switched to smoking, and the room was bad, the furniture was very different and there was less of it and it all had burn marks in it. Everything was dingy. It was like I got switched from a nice executive hotel to a sleezy motel. I would recomend this hotel only if you are a non-smoker! If you smoke you are better off going to a flee bag motel for $50 at lease you will save money.
