“Wow, what a fresh, cooked to order, delicious breakfast!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2011

Magic Kettle was THE best way to start out our Saturday! Very attentive staff, very fresh, hot breakfast. Try the Magic Toast - so good! The place is not big and don't be in a huge hurry , everything IS made to order. Prices are decent - it's not a fancy place. Try it -I know I'll be back!

“Very good breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2011

We were just overnighting in North Bay on route to Ottawa and were looking for a quick breakfast. We found this place on tripadvisor and thought we would give it a try. Not much to look at on the outside but worth venturing in. The food was really good with locally sourced fresh bread being a nice treat. Try the rye bread if you can. Eggs Benedict were amazing with real ham being used and not just the cheap stuff. The prices were reasonable and the owner (new guy) was really nice.

I definitely recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in North Bay.

“Best breakfast in town, great lunches too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2008

The Magic Kettle has by far the best breakfast in North Bay, made with care by cooks who take pride in what they put on your plate. That's a rarity in North Bay, where most places serve up the usual greasy bacon and eggs. When you order the delicious french toast with cream cheese and fruit, you get real fruit, not canned fruit cocktail, as you do in most North Bay restaurants....The omelettes are cooked perfectly (try the feta-spinach)...The service can be a little slow if you get there when it's full or if a big group has just ordered, because there is only one cook doing it all,...but the food is worth the wait.

The lunch salads are great too...try the chicken-mango salad...Why don't more restaurants in North Bay offer creative menus and fresh ingredients like this? I wish they were open for dinner! In a town where there aren't many good places to eat, I'm grateful for this place.
