“Excellent Hotel, Great Staff”

Stayed here as an overnight stay for a trip to Ottawa. Rooms were clean and the staff is very attentive and informative. The continental is good, excellent variety of foods to eat.

Will definitely use this hotel again anytime I have to stay in North Bay.

“good hotel but fairly expensive”

the hotel is clean and offers a great continental breakfast if you want it. the room was $112 for a monday night which i thought was expensive for the area and hotel.

i stayed here for business and the hotel is clean and cheap, i paid $75/night. They have a continental breakfast in the morning which looked alright but i didn't eat there. I had a room with 2 double beds and found it fairly small, there was no couch for sitting, just 2 chairs and a table. It was nice to see a microwave and mini fridge in the room as well. Overall a good hotel and i would stay here again.

My room was clean and comfortable. The beds were great! Rooms are very expensive, $118.00 for one night with taxes etc $130.00 ouch! Included a continental breakfast, but that unfortunately was cold comfort. I like the hotel, but I will have to look for another place to stay in North Bay for future trips.

Well, apart from the people next door having sex at 12 pm at night then at 6 am in the morning, waking us up, there was a cockroach. The hotel was very clean though.

Liked — Clean, but without cockroach.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for posting your review here on Trip Advisor.

For the evening of your stay we did not have any concerns reported to us and would have liked for you to contact us at the time the noise occur or you found a bug, in order for us to rectify the problem.

The hotel is staffed 24 hrs and does regular hallway checks and during these checks, one performed at 2:00 AM, 3:15 AM and lastly at 5:00 AM, it was noted everything was fine.

In regards to the cockroach, it may have been a beetle or june bug as we have a large creek which runs behind the property and at times they have been known to get inside the hotel. I contacted our pest control company when reading your concerns to ensure there were no cockroaches. Although I did not know which room you stayed in, he did a through check of over 50% of our rooms and did not find any, as well to date we have not had any other guest mention seeing a cockroach in the building.
