In August, I had to bring my 84 year old mother to North Bay for surgery. I called around to various hotels, and really didn't get a good feeling. Called the Hampton and asked about a hospital rate. Yup.. good rate which included breakfast. The hotel is right next to the Shoppers Drug Mart, and across the street from Tim's. We also got 20% off at Swiss Chalet which was a couple of minutes away. What more could you want? We ended up staying two nights. The room was fantastic, the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was amazing.
The staff really went out of their way to help me get my mother out of the car after surgery and up to the room. Especially, Marlene at the front desk.
The room was clean and comfortable. Ask them about the drawer ghost on the second floor and you are sure to get a laugh. When you look at it, it stays in..but turn away and it gradually opens for no apparent reason.
I would highly recommend this hotel. I usually stay at the Marriott, but after this experience, I am doing a rethink and checking out other Hilton properties.

From the first minute we were made to feel very welcome, by Tyler, at the front desk. He was smart and polite and made my daughter and I feel important. We enjoyed our room very much, which smelled very clean and was neat and tidy. The always available hot chocolate was a huge hit for my daughter! Breakfast was fresh and varied, with a great fruit salad. Centrally located and our new favourite for North Bay. Booked by phone as it was last minute and were very happy with a reduced rate as we had a medical appointment. Thank you Hampton Inn, we'll be back!

My stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations - the Front Desk was friendly, helpful, and always polite. There is complimentary coffee/tea available 24/7 and a very beautiful lounge area to sip your hot beverage while doing quiet reading, etc.

My room was very lovely, clean, and comfortable - as was the rest of the hotel - the hallways, lobby, elevators...

The location of the hotel is also situated at a very convenient location for me - right beside a number of selection of restaurants and plazas, including Sobey's, No Frills, Zellers, and Shoppers.

Overall, I had a really lovely experience - and really feel that the Hampton Inn offered great value for my stay.
