My partner and I had stayed in at the Blue Lion for one night in November. The Blue Lion's location could not have been better. It is steps away from the Main Street, and walking distance to just about everything nearby.
The Blue Lion B&B rooms are quite nice. We stayed in the largest room, and although the furniture and decor was quite nice; the room was absolutely freezing which detracted from our stay. There was a little heater that we used, but found that the old house had poor insulation.
The breakfast was okay. We had a two course breakfast with a corn flake granola as an appetizer and an apple pancake as the main.
Overall, the Blue Lion is an average B & B at Niagara on the Lake, and its location cannot be beat. However, for the actual value and experience, I would recommend shopping around.
