This B&B has got to be in the best location in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It’s at the end of King Street, which means that you have a splendid view of Lake Ontario and also have peace and quiet. Yet, it’s just a 5 minute walk to the wonderful shops and restaurants in town. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and spacious; the pictures on the web site are very accurate depictions. Like the previous posters, we stayed in the Riverside Suite, but peeked in at the other rooms before their occupants checked in, and they are all delightful. Both of our breakfasts were outstanding -- the best scones I’ve ever eaten, 3-fruit muffins, tasty fresh fruit, creative egg dishes, a delicious Italian sausage dish, and the world’s most perfectly cooked bacon! The other guests the weekend we stayed there were repeat customers who knew the friendly hosts, Bruce and Jeanette, but we felt totally included in the lively breakfast conversation. There are many, many fabulous looking B&B’s and inns in this charming town, but I didn’t see any place that I would have rather stayed. And unlike the previous posters, we were blessed with perfect weather during our visit, the last weekend in April.

We stayed here on the weekend of Oct 21-22, and while the weather was terrible, the B & B was charming. Our room, which was the same as the first reviewer, was beautiful. While the entrance to the B & B has "kitschy" decorations, like a stuffed bear and a dress dummy with a costume, the room was lovely, with a gas fireplace, a big airjet tub in the bathroom (which we never had a chance to try out), and a huge bed. (It was cold, and we could have used some warmer blankets.) We could see the lake, and the small pretty garden through the big window. If the weather was nicer, there were lots of comfy chairs on the porch to sit on, and some of the guests had shared a bottle of wine sitting outside watching the huge waves and drinking a bottle of wine they had bought while wine touring. Only the the "lady" of the house was around on the weekend - her husband, who seemed to be the regular cook, was away for the weekend. She is interesting, quite opinionated, but friendly, and helpful with reservations and recommendations. The only odd thing, which is maybe a B & B phenomenon, is that breakfast at 9am, and if you are late, it is clearly disapproved. I think that the husband normally does the cooking, and she was a bit embarrassed about her skills, but we certainly didn't starve. All guests sit together, and the host made a point of suggesting that we introduce ourselves, which got the conversation going. The other guests included second timers and friends of relatives, as well as people like us who had found about the place on the internet. The location is great - its really pretty and you are within easy walking distance to plays and all the cute shopping. We would definitely come again.

We had our first taste of a B&B staying one night at this beautiful house. We had the Riverside room which was spotless and wonderfully comfortable with views of the Lake and gardens. All the rooms lead onto a hall with a private entrance, separate from the main house.
Our hosts were very welcoming but not intrusive and provided a delicious breakfast of home-made cranberry scones, fruit and yogurt and a beautifully presented omelette.
Unfortunately we arrived in the pouring rain from the Falls and were unable to make the most of Niagara on the Lake itself as we wanted to return to Niagara Falls the next day when the weather cleared. However NOTL was a lovely place with endless walks and a very pretty town and we wish we could have explored it more.
We would highly recommend Arbour View for any stay in Niagara on the Lake which is about 16 miles from the Falls. Whether or not you have experienced B&B before, you will not be disappointed.
