“A quaint little bed and breakfest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

This wonderful little B&B was an excellent find to match our Shaw Festival excursion. The owner was a hospitable gentleman that knows his food. The made to order breakfest was top notch, exceeding all expectations, five star restaurant style quality. The accomodations were wonderful and lovely but you still need to drive back into town especially on hot days when walking just wont do.

We stayed for a 3 night vacation on Niagara on the Lake, and attended a concert in the area. We really enjoyed 627 King, the food was just excellent and would rival any restaurant breakfast you could get in the area. Especially nice that you can order to your preference the night before, and really adds to the overall value of the bed and breakfast.

Maurice thinks of all the little things, as well, he keeps you very well fed, and offered us water for our day out at the concert, use of his dryer when we were rained on, and gave us several great recommendations for dinner and things to do. Location was perfect for us, a straight 15 minute walk into town, which we really enjoyed, and situated in a quiet residential area with lots of beautiful homes and gardens.

We stayed in room 1, which is very large, the bed is comfortable and the jacuzzis tub is a nice extra. We would absolutely return again for the great hospitality, and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends or family.

Our expectations were definitely exceeded - it was great from start to finish. We really appreciated all the little touches: the fruit tray and other little snacks in the fridge, french press for coffee, amazing breakfast with such fantastic presentation. It really seemed like they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We'll definitely be back!

Room Tip: I didn't get a chance to see the other rooms, but the one I was in was wonderful. Waking up to f...

We stayed at this wonderful B&B for 3 nights during our trip to Canada. It is located in a quiet residential part of town but close to everything. The room was well furnished and very comfortable. The parlour with the fridge that was continually restocked with water, fresh juice and fruit was a really great feature. We enjoyed having breakfast at a time of our choosing in our room. The breakfasts were quality, in both cooking and presentation. The buttermilk griddle pancakes were especially excellent. Maurice was a great host and organised our wine tour and assisted us with any enquiries we had. We should have emailed him for more detailed directions from the freeway into Niagra on the lake as we found this quite confusing and got lost. We stayed in King suite 2, Auberge, but if returning would stay in King suit 1, for a little more space. We would recommend Zees and The Rest for eating, both different but good. If we were returning to Niagra on the lake we would definitely stay at 627 on King and we have already recommended it to our friends.

This B&B was wonderful. It is in a quiet neighborhood which is close enough to walk into town or a short drive. Our room was spacious and fully stocked. Maurice made the best breakfasts and made us feel very welcome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at 627 on King. Maurice was a engaging host, the room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable (I've since bought a pillow like the one he provided as it was so comfortable), the location was perfect (away from noise and bustle but an easy walk to everything) and the breakfast was heavenly. Lots of little amenities that made this a really nice stay. We'll be back!

This is a wonderful B&B and its host Maurice is simply the best. He suggested great restaurant and served great breakfast. We would definitely come back again. Area is quiet and 15 min walk to main NOL street.
