Our experience at John's Gate was nothing short of outstanding. Meheroo is a charming, caring, hostess who's attention to detail was amazing.
We felt totally at home in her lovely, immaculate B&B. Our breakfasts were also five star and we left the table well nourished by both Meheroo's wonderful food and the warm, always interesting conversations with her charming guests. We will most definitely be letting our friends know about the John's Gate experience and plan to book with Meheroo again when we next visit the area.

From the moment of our arrival, until the time we left, we were treated as if we were long time friends. Meheroo is a gracious host, who went above and beyond to make our holiday very memorable. Her establishment is extremely clean, and comfortable. Words can not describe the breakfasts which were so eliquently prepared,(and they tasted equally as good). We have already set the ball in motion to return for more pampering.

Our weekend family get-away to Niagara-on-the-Lake was an outstanding experience. This was the first time we stayed at a B&B in NOTL. With so many B&B's to choose from the decision was hard until I started reading the "reviews" about the various establishments. The reviews for John's Gate were, for the most part, exemplary. I figured this would be a great place the family to stay. When we arrived, our hostess Meheroo greeted our family with a huge smile that said, "welcome to my home". This made us feel like we were at our home-away-from-home. Her house is meticulous and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We checked our belonging in our rooms before heading out for the evening. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean (there was no worry about waking around barefoot in this place).Upon our return that evening, our beds were turned-down and a delicious Belgium chocolate rested on each pillow. Even my daughter's "Mini Mouse" had a chocolate in her hand. The girls were elated. Not only is Meheroo a great hostess, she is a fabulous cook. Our breakfast was delicious and she paid careful attention to our girls needs. Note: If there is something you can't eat or if you re very fond of a certain food, Meheroo can be very accommodating.Since these reviews are suppose to be very honest, there were two minor inconveniences we had. The first was the icemaker in the same refrigerator did not work. I should have mentioned this to Meheroo after our first night and I'm sure ice was available from the main house. The second inconvenience was probably more my issue than Meheroo's. The shower in our room was a glass-enclosed stall that was a little too small for me. At 6'5" and 230 lbs. it was a little too confined.Overall, our visit was great and our next trip to NOTL will be at John's Gate B&B.Sincerely,Marc Gordin

I took my wife to this B&B for her birthday and the both of us had a great stay. The hospitality is top notch and the place is kept in great shape. The owner goes to great lengths to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this B&B to anybody.
In summary, top notch and wonderful!
