Had a friend getting married on a winery, so thought I would check out this hotel recommended by a couple of my friends (who also stayed with us at the same time). The hotel itself was very clean and cosy (it's small but feels cosy vs tiny, and the bathroom was a great size for the size of the room and had quite a few 'upgrades' vs some of the older niagara-on-the-lake hotels -- note, if you're looking for victorian - this isn't it. This is much more modern, and a smaller location. What really made it an amazing weekend though was the concierge Cooper -- he was amazing. He was fun, happy, and greated myself (and my friends) with a glass of sparkling wine and a great smile when we walked in. A few of us went out for dinner at another winery - he arranged the taxi, and when we got back - got us set-up in the the lounge (so comfy! we were by ourselves and it felt like a comfortable friends living room with the fireplace on!). We will definately be going back - great value, great staff. I would recommend this hotel any time - especially over some of the higher priced - older hotels/inns I've been at previously in wine country .
