If you want a place that is tranquil, caters to your needs, and serves the best breakfasts you'll ever eat this is the bed and breakfast for you. The hosts are congenial and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We have stayed in many B&Bs throughout the US and Europe, and this is as good as it gets. We have never experienced such bountiful and delicious breakfasts. We stayed in the Cherry Room and it was large, with a king bed and sitting area with two chairs. Much more spacious than a hotel room. The bathroom does not have a vaniety area, but this was a small inconvenience compared to the other amenities. While we did not use the pool, the pool area is beautifully landscaped and would be a wonderful retreat during the warmer months. You are about a mile from the village center, so you do have to either walk through the park or drive into town. But the silence and get-away feeling you have at Bruce Manor is worth the short trip into town. We couldn't recommend Bruce Manor more highly.
