Below was quoted from an email I sent and almost 2 weeks later no courtesy of a response...
We ordered the crab cakes, linguine and meatballs and garlic bread with cheese. The garlic bread w/cheese was the highlight. The crab cakes were okay but the red pepper aioli was bland, tasteless. The pasta overcooked and the meatballs very dry and overcooked, in my opinion probably over nuked in a microwave.
We did not express this to our waitress, as I do not recall if she came by to ask, but when the young host who seated us came over at the end and asked, my friend said everything was fine, of course being polite. I however, spoke up and said no not really and kindly explained why. He apologized, I told him not his fault he did not cook it but should tell the kitchen. Now whether that ever happened I do not know. We paid, my friend was paying so knowing him left a good tip anyway, which I would not have and we left.
Customers, so very often do not want to make a scene, sending food back or complaining at the table so we eat it, pay it and just don’t come back. Maybe you have much better things on your menu, but I am letting you know that a good cook/chef should not be letting things like that come out of the kitchen. It is a $15 bowl of linguine with four meatballs it should be done right.
If the cook or the cooking line was not made aware last Saturday they should be now. I would think a restaurant would like repeat customers as opposed to one time visitors.
