“AMAZING!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2011

My boyfriend and I visited Lakelands Bed and Breakfast June 2011- This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience, so we were a bit nervous, and not quite knowing what to expect.....and we were THRILLED! We stayed in the Willow Suite and it was a DELIGHT!! First when we pulled up in the drive way, Zoli was there to welcome us to the B and B- He gave us a quick tour, directions, breakfast time, and such, and then he told us to enjoy our stay and that he would see us in the morning- very non-invasive, simple, sweet, to the point, but still very informative. That night we drove about 25 minutes to the falls and had a wonderful evening. The next morning we went down to breakfast at 9am, and we sat down and the most finely placed table I have ever eaten at. The other couple that were there were such a delight as well, and we were able to talk and chat with them at their table just across from us. The Breakfast came in courses ( to make a quick note- my boyfriend is gluten AND dairy intolerant- the Miklossy's catered to him perfectly- even providing muffins for him!!!) Needles to say- the Breakfast was AMAZING! For what you get for the Price of this B and B...its truly amazing- VERY CLEAN ( which is very important to us) Niagara on the Lake is BEAUTIFUL! Overall, we had SUCH a nice time!!! We can't wait to go back and visit June and Zoli! Amazing B and B- Amazing people! What a GREAT weekend! THANKS MIKLOSSY'S!!! We will be back!!!

Room Tip: All the rooms were very beautiful! All clean!

We just visited Niagara on the Lake for the fourth time, though our first stay at Lakelands. We have found the bed and breakfast for us. Our hosts were charming, knowledgeable and helpful. Our accommodations were in a large, bright, spotless room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast each morning was served in a beautiful dining area. Each meal consisted of several courses, beautifully presented, and delicious. The grounds were well maintained and the landscaping was very attractive. This B&B is a short walk into town. It is superior in every way.

My wife and I (Bostonians) went with friends to the Shaw Festival in Niagara On The Lake, but no matter what your reason for traveling to this extraordinarily beautiful spot in Ontario, we would strongly suggest you stay at Lakelands B&B. The owners, Zoli and June, are warm, welcoming hosts, full of local information and recommendations, and helpful in every way. And, just let me add, the accommodations are fabulous and first class in every respect. Not to mention the beautifully served spectacular breakfasts. Rates are, in our estimation, very reasonable in this popular destination. Location is within easy walking distance of downtown center.

Room Tip: All rooms are equally wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at Lakelands B&B over the Thanksgiving long weekend. It was our first time experiencing a B&B, and June and Zoli made it absolutely wonderful with their genuine hospitality. The rooms were spotless and comfortable with modern decor, and the breakfasts (which can be catered to your dietary needs) not only looked great but also tasted great. Leaving chocolates on our pillows every day was a nice final touch to a perfectly made up room. June and Zoli were also very helpful with providing maps and suggesting interesting places to visit. Located in a nice neighbourhood in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Lakelands is within walking distance to Queen Street (their main street) and also close to the wineries and other tourist attractions. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Lakelands for your next visit.

My husband and I have always wanted to try a B&B however we were uncertain if we liked the thought of staying at someone’s home, but it was a bucket list item and one I’m thrilled we experienced.
Lakelands B&B exceeded any expectation we ever had prior to going. The Miklossy home was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Hosts June and Zoli were so welcoming, and the service provided was over and beyond any five star hotel we’ve ever stayed at.
The multi course breakfast every morning was so delicious and fabulously put together. We stayed in the Willow Suite and loved everything about our room, it was spacious, inviting and the Egyptian cotton bed linens was an enjoyable added luxury.
Overall the attention to detail from the moment we entered the B&B to the moment we left was spectacular.
Thank you June and Zoli, for making this first experience a memorable one. We can’t wait to be back in the Spring.

From the moment Zoli and June meet you at the front door you feel at home. We had the most relaxing, unhurried, delightful four day stay at Lakelands. The entire property was groomed to perfection, the rooms clean, beautifully appointed and the beds so inviting.
The smell of coffee returned us to our senses after a great nights sleep, and impecibly presented and tasty breakfasts set the mood for the day. Zoli and June are helpful for the novice visitor to Niagara on the Lake, making the decisions on what to do, stress free.
At the end of a long day we returned to a candle lit sitting room and a lovely jacuzzi bath.
Four days of rest and relaxation seems like a ten day retreat at the hands of these gifted hosts.

With so many B&Bs in NOTL it was difficult choosing one for our trip. We found Lakelands B&B with its high ratings and modern decor and decided to give it a try. The focal point of our trip was touring the Niagara region wineries. Lakelands has a great location just a minute or two drive into the NOTL town center. We stayed 2 nights at the Lakelands B&B in Niagara-On-the-Lake. Our stay was in the Willow suite. Another couple traveling with us stayed in the Birch suite. All of us were very impressed with the Lakelands property design and decor. The suites were very spacious and well-appointed with flat screen tv, great bed, high-quality linens, and jetted tub. The hosts, Zoli & June were very gracious during our stay. We enjoyed multi-course hot breakfasts each morning that were artfully presented by Zoli. Among the dishes served were a frittata/quiche, warm baked pears w/cinnamon granola, eggs benedict, assorted fresh fruits, and pastries. The hosts really made us feel at home and enjoyed sharing their NOTL experiences with us. Other nice perks included a common area with stocked refrigerator, VIP winery tasting coupons, wireless internet, and complimentary phone calls within Canada or to the States. We will definitely consider Lakelands a top choice on our next visit to NOTL.
