“A must for Niagara-on-the-lake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

My boyfriend and I went on a trip to Niagara for our 8th anniversary. We saw Arcadia and this play was beyond a doubt our favorite memory of our trip. It is among the best plays we've seen. We very much enjoyed all of the references to math and chaos theory (my boyfriend is getting his PhD in mathematics right now). It was definitely a play for people who like to think about big questions but still have some great laughs. Highly recommend!

Beautiful building and gardens. Good lighting and sound- not a bad seat in the house. on the edge of downtown Niagara on the Lake- easy to get to.

“Lovely "Village"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

Niagara on the Lake is Charming - a Delight. The Flowers Add to the Overall Experience. The Play - Light in the Piazza - Could Have Been Wonderful - BUT - the "Background" Music was Way to Loud. Therefore the Actors Words Could Often Not be Heard.

“Exceptional Actors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

The last time I was here was 20 years ago and the memories of The Shaw Festival presentations is what brought me back. I hope not to wait 20 more years for another amazing evening here. Saw Guys and Dolls and my husband is still raving about it. Better than a Broadway production for convenience, atmosphere and intimacy with the production. The acting and music was superb. An evening at the Shaw is an absolute must when at Niagara-on-the-Lake

“Performance of "Our Betters"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Enjoyable performance, excellent set and costumes. For those with mobility impairments, please be aware that there is no elevator in the Royal George Theatre to access the balcony seating upstairs or the lounge and restrooms in the basement. Seating is a bit tight in the theatre too.
