“Small room, small washroom, and a leaking sink.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014 via mobile

So far this was the worst hotel we stayed at. The room is really small and our sink in the washroom was leaking badly that it made a small flood on the floor. Good thing we were only there to sleep for a night.

Stayed April 2013, traveled as a couple

I use to love coming here but on saturday november 23rd at about 6pm i walked in to book a room for two weeks and when i arrived i went to the desk and the man at the desk was so rude and told me that when i asked for a fridge and a microwave for my room that i was not allowed to have those things in my room. Also i could barely even understand him.All he kept telling me was that if i wanted to use a fridge or microwave that i can use the one in the breakfast room.Like who the heck wants to keep walking to the other room to use those things.I think they need to hire nicer people and ones who actually can be understood by people. Then i called the next morning and i spoke to a young lady who then told me yes they do have microwaves and fridges in there rooms.I couldn't understand what she was saying either but one man says no fridges and microwaves and another person says yes we do provide those.Like does this man know what he is doing or was he just being lazy and not wanting to bring me a fridge and microwave??Please someone needs to tell this man that he needs to learn his job and stop being so lazy to these guests.I ended up going across the street and staying there.

Room Tip: Place looks amazing just get front desk clerk that people can understand.

Admittedly, we booked this room by accident, we were trying for the other Knights Inn. Talk about a happy mix up!

It was billed as a budget motel and that's what it is. A pleasant room with a bed, TV, shower, fridge and microwave. What more do tourists like us need?

Our room was clean, fresh smelling, quiet, and cozy. When we got there, there wasn't a microwave in the room but the girl brought us one within 15 minutes. A lightbulb blew at one night and she brought us a new one straight away. I did change it myself, but that was by choice because I'm a giant human being and she was maybe 5'4? It just seemed courteous, although I'm sure she would have ran back for a ladder in an instant. Leaves were always swept up and the lot was clean.

We were a short drive away from the falls but still in a highly tourist area. We discovered great dining and attractions all along Lundys lane.

We will be back at this motel on our next trip without a doubt. So, don't go believing the bad reviews, they are under new management and making significant repairs. Give these guys a look and you will love it.

Only downfall was turning left onto Lundys land out of the parking lot, but that was a problem all along that road no matter where you were.

Room Tip: Bottom floor avoids the stairs but they aren't much.

The hotel looked OK on the internet so I booked a double room with fridge and microwave. We arrived around 2 pm and since it was October the place was not busy and plenty of rooms were to be had. We were put on a second story room and dragged our bags up a steep flight of concrete stairs which took both of us two trips. The room was dated and not the greatest but it looked clean for the most part but it did not have the fridge/micro. While we compromised on the micro, it took two different fridges to get one that finally kept the food cold that we brought with us. The next morning before we left for Toronto, we were informed that we should never have been put in that room and had to move all of our stuff to a first floor room. Needless to say, this was not a happy thing BUT the girl in charge did comp two nights out of our three night stay and was sincerely apologetic about the error. The only problem with being on the first level is the other folks coming in late and slamming their car doors and room doors till 3 am while you are trying to sleep...not a staff problem, just disrespectful travelers. The reason given for the room exchange was they were making improvements to the hotel itself and our original room was scheduled for refurbishing that week. Price was right though...you can't stay anywhere in the falls area for $11 a night! While not the best, the staff made the situation bearable and were very nice.

Room Tip: Wait till they remodel but if you are looking for cheap room, it's the ticket
