“Great Family Hotel-DO NOT MICROWAVE POPCORN!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2011

Just back from a one night (two whole days) stay. Children (ages 10-13) loved the water park.
The hotel itself was very nice, we had a basic suite which was fine, beds very comfortable, and quiet even with all the kids in hotel. Pizza at hotel was great, and fast.
All staff were lovely, esp. Mitch at the front desk.
and please look at the mocrowave carefully, no popcron allowed, for some odd reason it will burn up and smoke up the halls very quickly. Manager Steve was very understanding of the mistake, and the NF firemen wre there right away, very safe hotel!!

Room Tip: Hallways are quiet long, ask to be near elevator if you have an older person with you

I stayed at the GWL from 10/2-10/4 and LOVED IT! The staff is friendly and helpful! The prices are excellent. The rooms are clean and inviting, the beds are comfortable. The water park is HUGE! DO NOT get caught in the tourist trap of Clifton Hills. Drive a mile or two and visit this hotel, especially if you have a family. My kids are asking when they can go back. Special thanks to Mitch C. and Summer. Excellent customer service!

Room Tip: If you have kids, choose the Kid Cabin. If you don't have young kids, get the Loft Fireplace su...

We went to Great Wolf Lodge with our 2 kids, age 2 and 4. We were unsure going in how much our children would be able to do, but were pleasantly surprised they could do ALOT. The indoor water park was amazing, had lot so opportunities for all ages. The convenience of life jackets being provided was very nice as well. The animatronics in the lobby were a huge hit with the kids, especially the Mama Bear. Every single staff member went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, from admission desk to housekeeping to water park staff and food service workers. Only complaint, wish there was an a la carte dinner restaurant on site. Buffet was pricey ($20.99, without drink), but unless you wanted to leave the resort it was either that or pizza for dinner.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Kid Kamp Suite, kids loved the "tent" they got to sleep in.

Thank you to all the staff at the Great Wolf Lodge for a great visit. Our team travels the country all summer attending Festivals for WestJet. For our last festival of the year we decided to do our team wrap up in Niagara. The staff at the resort were very friendly and the place was clean with great size rooms. This resort is fun for kids of all ages. Our team hit the water slides, restaurants, spa and arcade. They all agreed it was one of the best stops they have had all summer. We'll be back.

Room Tip: If you are not traveling with kids grab a whirlpool room. They are very spacious and have everythin...

We were at Great Wolf Lodge for the first time this weekend. We had a fabulous time. The atmosphere is truly for those who have never experienced a lodge/cottage like environment. We had the Wold Den room, very clean. The water park was truly fun, more so, the slides for my kids as they are 9 and 11 (older) than most of the target audience at the Lodge this weekend. We stayed for the 8PM story time, then went out to Clifton Hill for a drive (to see all the lights) picked up some Timmy's hot chocolate and then stayed in the front lobby at the Lodge just chatting by the fireplace for hours. As an example of great customer service, our toilet backed up twice during our stay, when we called downstairs, the front lobby was very quick to send up the plumber who was so funny (even at that late hour) and even gave us the official Great Wolf Howl before he left. I would go back in a heart beat if the kids were younger. The facilty is new and very much geared towards their guests ... the kids. I would recommend to any young family without hesitation to spend the wekend here ! Enjoy.

We live about 45 minutes away and this makes for a great vacation close to home (stay-cation!) but still get that gone away on holiday feel. Great place - has it all. Kids loved the water park. One night stay gets you two days in the water park - just enough for us. The DJ at the outdoor pool is great fun - with contests for all ages! Buffet dinner is good value and easy for the whole family - something for everyone. We always buy the All Inclusive package. Works well for us - kids get some fun things to do and a souvenir and the meals are included. All the staff were all very helpful and friendly all the time. Short drive to Niagara Falls and other great attractions. This was our third visit and we plan to return again! Highly recommend it. TIP - bring your OWN beach towels - one per wet person. You cannot take towels out of the water park and it can be a very long, chilly and wet walk back to your room. Use your own towels for this!!

We went to Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate our Son's 6th birthday. If you want to do something special, or memorable, there really is no better place to go. The waterpark is truly world-class. The staff are friendly and the rooms and facilities are exceptional. I was surprised to read negative comments because the property and its facilities are spectacular. Our experience was fantastic and our son was/is very happy. No doubt your family will have a wonderful time...enjoy!
