“Stay Far Away”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

We took our children here 15 years ago and had a great time. The only thing that has changed now is that it is run down. The same old rides are looking tired and outdated. The animals are clearly not living the life they deserve and look stressed..During the shows the emcee kept saying that this particular animal is still being trained and thats why it isnt performing the way it should.Thats what they said 15 years ago too.
This is the most expensive well advertised attraction in Niagara Falls. In no way whatsoever is there any value for your money here.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!

“Nobody who likes animals, loves Marineland”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

We bought a season ticket, on the advice of friends who claimed that it was fabulous, that our daughter could pet 'tame deer', and that the marine shows were fabulous. We went once, and were horrified.

Yes, you can pet deer. They're not tame. They're ill, and tired, and have no access to shade. They have open sores. They let you pet them, because they have no choice. There is nowhere for them to run to.

The Orca show. Three orca whales. One small tank. Horrific.

This place is vile. I don't mind amusement parks - hot dogs, cheap rides, too much sugar - they have their place. Put animal cruelty into the mix, and you do not have my vote.

“It's a cash cow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

The place is ok for families with young children. We went and had a good time. However, if you like thrilling rides, this is not the place to go except for the big 'drop zone' type of a ride. It looks like the owners are trying to make profit without investing too much. I wish I could buy that park because it has so much potential that is not being utilized. It is a beautiful park but in the space there you could have three times as many rides and attractions. The restaurant has some healthy choices so that's good. Not an expert on animals so can't comment on the cruelty issue, but I coudl see that the Killer whale was bored to death. The show was pretty good. Go with low expectations and you will have a great day out.

“Sorry, but bears should NOT be eating marshmallows!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

The show theatre looked EXACTLY the same as when I went there in 1981. Outdated and cheap...The bears made me so sad...feeding them marshmallows is NOT okay, but down right pathetic...My favourite parts were the free parking , and walking through the park which had lots of trees as it was nice weather that day. But, if you are going there for the animals, you'd better bring some Celebrex with you! Hopefully they can spend some money from the pricey entrance fee to reinvest so it can catch up to the 21st century. I would rather have spent my money on a good feast at Copacabana around the corner :/ Hope this helps!

“Great Customer Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

We had great customer service there. Got a kick out of petting the beluga whale for a fee and feeding them. Also got a picture of us petting the whale, and individual pictures of petting the whale. Very cool, the show was really good too.
