“Comfortable room in a great location with gorgeous view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

We got a good deal on a room due to being players club members. They let us check in at 11:30 and gave us a very comfortable corner king room with a gorgeous view of the Canadian Falls on the 11th floor. The hotel is situated to have a perfect unobstructed view of the Canadian Falls. At the Hilton across the street you always see the Casino between you and the falls. We have also stayed at the Marriott (the real one) and they have great views - but from a different angle farther up. We didn't have a Jacuzzi - but a tub and shower - bathroom very nice though. Keurig coffee provided also - much better than the regular hotel coffee fare. The room felt like home with a comfy bed and lots of pillows - was very clean on the surface. Side chair arms could use a scrub. The pool is small and very small hot tub, no steam room or sauna. The pool area cannot compare with the Hilton across the street which has very extensive facilities with a two story slide. The staff at the desk were very friendly and when we left asked how our stay had been - I don't think they have ever asked us that at the Hilton. And of course it is nice to be right at the Casino if you like to eat shop and gamble there!

Room Tip: We enjoyed our corner king with view of Canadian Falls - a higher floor would be nicer I would thin...

We have stayed in the Fallsview 4 or 5 times and the view is something to behold. Turn around.....and see what the room looks like. WoW!! We feel like we had just won a million. They don't decorate like our travelling motels do.....it is like you just fell into 'heaven" (I think) We are going again this month and again next month. (If you play a little, each time, and you use your card in the machines, you become a friend and are offered the free room for an evening in the near future. It is great just to book a room and go there, maybe have an expensive meal or a sandwich. Your choice and it is all within the Fallsview bldg including tons of stores, pool, and on and on. Our rooms have always given us the beautiful view of ALL the falls. Just amazing. Go and play a bit and soon you will be looking at the "falls" too. You won't be sorry.

Room Tip: The only tip left is "Just try it" and you too will be writing your experience.

The Hotel was just beautiful.Excellent service. The rooms has a Great view of the Falls.(Be sure to ask for the Falls side). The Buffet has different foods to please all that goes. A food court is downstairs if You just want a guick meal. Besides the Casino there's so much to do. The Made of the Mist in a must to do. They have a package to do that goes to the Butterfly Conservetory where You go into with the Butterflies are all over. The tour busdriver tells You all about the different things on the route. It's just the place to go & enjoy the ride.

Room Tip: Ask for a room where You can see both Falls.

We had stayed at this hotel for 1 night, we had spent too much time at the falls and dint have much time left to enjoy the Hotel. The view we got from our room was amazing. I have stayed at most of the other hotels with Fallsview rooms, but i must say this place has the best view.

My wife and I stayed three nights at the Fallsview Casino hotel over this past labour day long weekend. We have stayed at this hotel previously, and we disappointed this time with the value that this property provides. Given that we paid on average $330 CAD per night, the room we received was just average from a quality, size and finishes point of view. The other annoying part of our stay was the nickel and diming that seems to be the norm at this hotel. We had picked up a bottle of wine at one of the wineries in the region and noticed that there were no wine glasses in our room. Forces you to go to one of the bars within the hotel I guess. When we asked for a couple of wine glasses for our room we were told that there would be a $5 charge for them. Very sad! I understand that a premium is paid to stay in the casino hotel, and that the other options in the area are fairly limited, however, we will definitely investigate other properties close by in the Niagara region.

Hotel was average. They sold so many promotions that lines were long and place was overcrowded. They did do a nice job of moving lines along though. Having spent some time at various Las Vegas hotels (also crowded) the "glitz" for the price just doesn't seem to be there. I have spent less per night in Las Vegas and gotten more bang for my buck and more options.

We just spent a night at the hotel and even won a little money to help offset some of the expense. The buffet was great for dinner and we both enjoyed ourselves. We had two TV set if we wanted to watch different programs, but we did not need both. The washroom was clean and a beautiful shower or you could have a bath if required. All was great.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade to the after you have selected your price.
