“Worth it.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

This was one of our favorite stops on our trip. I suggest going around 6pm that was you can see the view in the daylight and at night to see the falls illuminated. Even though it was a bit expensive it was the best meal we had in Niagara. Don't go without a coupon! We found one in the brochure you get from the information stands. I recommend this to everyone, just know you will spend more than an what you would on an average meal and enjoy the view!

“Great view Buffet good but overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

Our family had dinner in the buffet which includes access to the viewing level after dinner.
Food range bit limited but quite nice - roast meats, pasta, chicken in creamy sauce, roast potatoes, crab legs ( but no utensils to use ), salads , bread rolls and about 6 desserts which were all quite creamy and rich. It was quite busy and crowded in the food area and drinks are not included in the price so once tax and tips added it ends up expensive for an OK meal ( although you can eat as much as you want ) and you are really paying for the view. Make sure it is a clear night or you wont see much and be aware if you plan to do a tour of the area many include access to the tower anyway with often return passes to view at night also.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

this is a beautiful restaurant, we went to the early discounted seating. 35.50 per person. it was worth every penny and more the dinner included a good selection with salad and a delicious dessert . I had prime rib and my husband had tenderloin tips we were both satisfied, the service was excellent and we got to go up to the observation tower included in that price. very enjoyable evening

“Good food, GREAT views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

We took a group of about 40 here for a business dinner. The restaurant was really cool and obviously had great views of the falls. I had the filet and it was very good. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food. Our server, Tom, was especially helpful. If you go to the restaurant, make sure you go upstairs to the observation deck- it has even better views. Would definitely recommend it.

“Skylon Tower Revolving Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

Our tour group was supposed to eat at the buffet at the bottom of Skylon Tower and because it closed for the season, we were upgraded to the revolving restaurant at the top of the tower. We had three choices of entree and my husband and I chose the NY strip steak, which was served with broccoli, two small baked potatoes, a broiled tomato and salad. The steak was a bit rubbery and the potatoes were almost cold and the skin so tough it was hard to cut through them with the steak knife. But the worst part was the waitress we had, a heavy set blonde who was very rude and apparently didn't like a large tour group coming to eat. We had a lady in the group who is legally blind, and this waitress, Gwyen, came up behind her and asked what she wanted to drink. When the lady asked, "who are you talking to?", the waitress obviously was miffed. The waitress then asked her how she wanted her steak, "rare, medium, or well done", and the lady answered "medium-well", and the snotty waitress then said in a loud voice, "rare, medium, or well?" This same thing then to another lady at our table, and this waitress, instead of smiling and saying, "sorry, we can't do medium-well", continued to answer each person the same way. This waitress never smiled and was never friendly. We did also have a young man helping wait our table and he was very friendly, polite, and smiled too. Not a good experience, and this snotty waitress should realize, tourists are why she has that job. If I were her boss, I'd fire her. The view from the tower though is great and other than the above mentioned, a good experience.
