“Room with a View!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2009

The Embassy Suites usually are a great place to stay, and the Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel was certainly everything we had hoped for and a whole lot more. Firstly we were on our Honeymoon from Australia and we were upgraded to a Presidential Suite !! The views were absolutely stunning with panaramic views of both the Horseshoe falls and the American falls. The staff were outstanding, always polite and helpful, then there was the complimentary breakfast that Embassy suites are known for, it was great made to order omlettes and everything else you could possibly think of. Also the Keg on the 9th floor was a great way to dine after a busy day sightseeing. And the Hotel runs their own tour service and I'd have to say that the tour escort David was really informative and a really nice person as well, nothing was to much trouble for him. All in all this Hotel is in a prime position and fairly new as well. We would most definately stay there again. Greg & Lyn . Melbourne, Australia...

We went to Niagara Falls, Ontario for a quality family time. We decided to stay in this hotel as the falls view from the hotel suite was supposed to be fantastic. And we truly enjoyed the beauty of the famous Horseshoe falls from our room.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The ambiance was so cozy and inviting and the food was fantastic, specially the breakfast buffet.

The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We are so happy that we have decided to go there again in the Christmas holidays this year.

Almost a five. We stayed in a falls view suite on the 14th floor. Fantastic view of the falls!
Included in our $140 CA rate was breakfast and the manager's recepetion. The reception is a very simple spread: chips, pretzels, olives, pickles, carrots and dip. And jellybeans and dried fruit as sweets. Unlimited soft drinks are included and one free bar drink for husband and me. This is offered everyday. It isn't fancy, but it was a nice time to relax and let the kids munch. Breakfast is a buffet of potatoes, pancakes, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, assorted breads and muffins, cereal, fruit and yogurt. Plus made to order omelets. Husband really enjoyed the omelets, but the rest of the hot buffett was mostly lukewarm. I couldn't rate it a 5, only 4 +. The wait staff at breakfast was wonderful. The front desk staff was ok.
Parking is non-existant. You must valet park on site @$30 per day. (Or park in the casino lot one block down for cheap or free if you play even $2 inside w/ a player's card.) We knew about the parking as most of Niagara is like that.
Location is perfect. Far enough away from the wax museums and t-shirts shops to pretend they don't exist, or only a mile away if you choose to partake. (Some other reputaple hotels may be next door to the town laundromat or beer store.)
TGIFriday's is inside the hotel and is typical but more expensive than your neighborhood TGIFs. The Keg Steakhouse is also inside but we felt it was too pricey for us.
THe pool is nice, the lobby is pretty. It is very clean, but since I saw a hair in the shower upon arrival, I cannot give it a 5. The whirlpool tub was very clean, and has a view of your windows overlooking the falls if you choose.
I imagine in their busiest times you would wait in longer lines than the ones I saw for the valet, and our several minute wait for an elevator one evening. We would stay here again.

On Thanksgiving day, I was horribly bitten by the bedbugs more than 100 different spots all over my body during my stay at Embassy suites(6700 Fallsview Blvd,Niagara Falls)
I am so mad at the employees'attitude without any relevant apologies at all.
Our family trip was totally ruined and it still remain in my memory. On Thanksgiving day
I took some pictures of several bedbugs as evidence.

We were traveling for 2 weeks and stayed in 7 hotels during that time. Embassy Suites Fallsview was my husband's favorite. Suites are spacious, view is spectacular, sunrise over Horseshoe Falls is not to be missed. Included breakfast is fantastic - the best of our trip. Two person jacuzzi was perfect after roaming in the cold all day.

We had only one snafu during our one-night visit to Niagara Falls...the Embassy Suites shuttle to casinos and attractions. If you are planning to ride this shuttle, you should be aware that the shuttle sometimes goes incognito. We walked to our first attraction because we had just missed the shuttle. When we were ready to move on, the shuttle was nowhere to be found. We assumed (erroneously) that it would be identified from all the other tour buses and shuttles as the Embassy Suites Shuttle. Not necessarily. We later found out that the first bus we missed was identified simply by "Casinos and Attractions Shuttle" painted in black on a white bus. Later that day, that bus was having mechanical problems and the second bus we missed was a white bus with the word "Charter" painted above the door and the number "36" beside the door. Zero indication that these buses were affiliated with the Embassy Suites shuttle service. Later that night we were waiting on the "Charter 36" shuttle at the casino, and yet another bus pulled in (the Charter 36 bus also had mechanical problems). This last bus was painted to the teeth with the Embassy Suites Shuttle logo. We were told that some drivers didn't like driving the painted bus because the motor was in the front rather than the back. Whatever, but for heaven's sake, post a sign in the door and/or the window identifying the bus so your passengers have a clue of what bus to get on.

Other than the shuttle issue, we had a fabulous time in Niagara Falls and greatly enjoyed the Embassy Suites Hotel.

Let me start by saying that you can't beat the location and views from this Hotel and at this time of year the prices were right
Check-in was a breeze
We avoided the $30 a night valet parking charge by parking at the Casino ( 3 minute walk), all three of us grabbed a players card and never once paid for parking during our three night stay, we did play the slots and that covered the parking, a huge move on our part
Had 2 fallsview rooms overlooking the Horseshoe falls on the 18th floor, rooms were huge and very clean and the view was fantastic , one was a jacuzzi suite and that was
nice.
All employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful
We ate at the Keg on Saturday night, very crowded and loud but the food and service were great, make a reservation if you plan on going, it was crazy there
The Free Breakfast was well organized and the food was good, the cooked to order omlettes are the way to go.

We Will Return

Went to Niagara for a 3 day getaway. We liked Embassy Suites because it is right at the falls, it has a regular shuttle service to all area attractions (no charge) and it offers spacious 2 room suites. Also included is a full buffet breakfast and evening cocktail with snacks. Our package included a fallsview room with jacuzzi tub for 2 and dinner credit at Keg restaurant. Food at Keg was great and pricing was on par with other Keg restaurants. The hotel also has a TGI Fridays on site. For a roadhouse style restaurant their pricing is absurdly high. We could not justify the cost to eat there. It was always empty whereas the Keg was not.

My biggest complaint with this hotel (and most others) is the in-room minibar. I understand charging a little more for items due to convenience, but come on, let's get real. More people would purchase snacks and drinks if they weren't so damn expensive. $7 for a can of coke? $5+ for a snickers bar? I'll take the elevator down to the gift shop anytime and get a snickers 2-pack for $1.79!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The service at the front desk and tour/information desk was courteous and efficient. Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. A nice hotel at a fair price.
