“Wonderful Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2009

We stayed at the Embassy Suites for 4 nights and our entire stay was amazing. Our room was actually so big we didnt even sit/use half of it. The view from our room was incredible. We received a voucher for dinner at 'The Keg' the restaurant they have in the hotel and the food was to die for (I'm not kidding). I wish they would open 'The Keg' in my area it was so good. We went to eat at the Skylon Tower and I was not impressed, if you have a choice 'The Keg' is way better! Avoid room service, we ordered the cheese platter and it was NOT GOOD, I think it was around $80 and it was just some crappy cheese and crackers I was expecting really good cheese and I was very disappointed. Everything in the room is very expensive also. We brought our own mini's (alcohol) and we were set for the trip. All and all we both had a wonderful time.

I traveled here with my wife and two kids during the last week of school in Ontario.

Might i say the area was overridden with elementary, middle school kids.

However, being that we booked the VIP Tour through the Hotel, we didn't have to wait in line and saw all the sights and sounds of the area in a full afternoon (6 hours)\

The room we had on the 32nd floor was wonderful, great view looking staright on Horseshoe Falls.

Ryan and Nathan at the Bell Desk were great and they were really nice about directions, recommendations and the sorts.

This hotel is the biggest Embassy Suites in the World.

They have over 1,700 rooms and you can definately tell.

Breakfast time is very busy, but you have a view of the Falls from your table.

What to Watch out For:

The tokens on the room table: $3.00 a token

The $9.50 CDN water in your room (You can go across the street at the Chineese Store and get sodas and water for the half the price and bigger portions)

If you want your car valeted it will cost 30.00 a night, if you don't mind taking the shuttle bus a mere 5 mins away it will only cost 20.00 a night for parking.

The good thing with this hotel is that you get a free full full breakfast and complementary drinks and an evening reception (reception Mon-Fri Only)

I would definately stay here again.

For the price we paid ($135) it was a bargain. We had a fallsview room with jacuzzi. The breakfast was nice and the location is good.

My finace and I go to Niagara every year for his birthday in April, the tourist level is lower, weather is decent and hotel prices are lower, we normally stay at the fallsview sheraton, but this time we decided to try something different. We had a king suite, which inludes a living room, bedroom, floor to ceilin windows with perfect view of the falls, a huge bathroom with a 2 person whirlpool. I was extremely impressed, they have valet parking, and we never had to wait for the car, it was quick and efficient not a hassle at all, Staff was so friendly! everything about this hotel was amazing!

The hotel is superior. We had reserved a room with a view of the Falls, once we arrived the front desk advised us that the view from the room that we reserved is not all that impressive so we upgraded for $30 more to a Super Duper suit with an amazing view... well worth the money!
The rooms were super clean, Jacuzzi was good and the kids loved the space. On the downside, the front desk (while helpfull) was not as "nice" as one would have hoped, yet they were professional. some charges to watch out for:
1- Parking is valet only and it is $20-$30 per day depending on which option you choose.
2- the booklets in the room are for sale and they are not free for you to take. I was charged $15 for a booklet that I thought was free. and another $7 for a boolklet that I did not take (had to call the hotel to remove the charge).
Overall, we loved the room, it was the best part of the trip, and I would stay their again :-)

My family and I decided to go and see the Niagara falls for Father's Day. We stayed on the Embassy suites, because we also stayed on the same hotel branch when we went to Las Vegas last year. The Embassy Suites in Niagara was excellent! We were told that check-in was at 4 PM, but we arrived early and was able to check in at noon! The room was a 2 Queen bed, Fallsview suite. The view from our suite on the 25th floor was great, we could see both the American falls and the Canadian horseshoe falls from our room. The room was very clean, the carpet had no stains, and the bathroom was also clean.

The staff were very helpful. We chose valet parking because it was the same price as parking your own car in a private lot and then looking for it when you have to check out. When we checked out, we only had to wait at least 5 minutes before our car was brought by the valet and we were able to load up our bags and leave. The staff were very friendly, as well.

The manager's reception was also great. A woman was there to greet us and explained where the food and drinks were. The only difference in this manager's reception from the Las Vegas one was that the drinks were unlimited in Vegas, while the Embassy Suites Niagara issues only 2 coupons per family for a drink. Still, there were a wide selection of snacks to choose from, and the juices and pops were more than enough.

The complimentary breakfast was WOW! They had a lot of choices from sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans, home fries, fruits, yogurt, cereals, muffin, etc. I didn't go to the omelette station as there were a lot of people waiting to be served, but the breakfast was excellent. The Keg restaurant was used as the breakfast room in the morning. We were told we could come down to breakfast at 9:30 AM, but we were allowed to come in at 8 AM.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. It was a bit pricey, but it was well worth it. I do wish the shuttle service was free, instead of a $5 fee per shuttle pass. Still, I enjoyed my stay there and every member of my family, especially my Dad, had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Embassy Suites. We originally tried to get in to Marriott but their rooms were $230+ per night. Embassy had rooms for $92 and that included a cooked to order breakfast with a view of the falls, a manager's reception and clean, comfortable rooms. We were very happy and it connects to the Marriott which is where our friends were staying. We also had time for a nice day trip to Toronto and a tour on the Purple Hippo-which was recommended to us by the hotel staff.
