“Great view!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

We have done Embassy Suites in many different cities. They have always been nice and this is no different. Rooms are clean and large. Breakfast is yummy and the view is beautiful. It is worth the extra money to get a view! The only major problem is the . It would take you 15 minutes to wait for a not full elevator. Sometimes the stairs are quicker. I enjoyed this place and recommended it.

Room Tip: Get a view of the falls!

Went for 4 days with the family. We were 3 adults and 3 children (6,8 and 13). Everybory really enjoyed the hotel. the room was roomy, bed confortable and breakfest was realy good. Everybody loved eating in the morning with beautiful view of the falls on the 9th floor. The pool is really made the kids and my kids really love going there at the end of the day. I was talking with one of the bellboy's and he mentioned that this hotel was the biggest embassy suites in the world. So don't be surprise that it does take time waiting for the elevators, especialy for breakfest and end of the daty. Also we were on the 33rd floor and sometimes stop on 15 times going down to the 9th floor. Finally I did pay the 25$ chrge for parking and everything went very well. I never waited more than 5 minutes for the shuttle that brings you to your car. The only things that was disapointing was that it is a long walk to get down to the falls. There is no direct stairways down to the falls. With my kids, it took 15 to 20 minutes each way to gert dwn to the falls.

A lovely hotel with full suites. Great beds and view, even though we were on lower floors. Terrific free full breakfast (have them make an egg white omelet with all the fixings) and free happy hour stretch the dollars spent. Although these seem crowded at first, if you wander a little way into the adjoining restaurant you have a great view of the falls and lots of seating. Our only complaint was that there is only one elevator for the lower floors, which meant a long wait in the morning. Note that because of the suites, there are lots of families so it tends to be a bit crowded.

Room Tip: You have a great view even from the lower floors, so no need to pay more for the upper floors. Just...

This particular hotel has suites that are very comfortable and clean, with a menu of amenities available. The complementary breakfast was excellent. The very best feature was the unobstructed views of the falls!

If you like to be amongst noise, people movement all along, pure commercial outlook of the staff, go for it.

Visited with family on August 18 and booked a fallsview room on 15th floor. Entry to the hotel tells it is one of the busiest hotel on this area. There were so many cars in and out with people checking in and out, looked like a part of carnival going on. While checking in, I figured out the room marked for us was a corner one on 16th floor and had a partial view of the Tower Hotel. I was offered an upgrade to 37th floor room facing Canadian Falls for $50. Since the hotel was almost full, could not negotiate much and took that in. Rooms are large, a bit dated though. The room had Jacuzzi and my daughter loved it most. There is a window directly overlooking the falls. Must say, best view to see the falls from the hotel.

Parking is costly. Got to back of the gift shop across the road (it is called OK gift shop), paid $ 10 for overnight parking with in-out options. Be careful not to get in the side parking of this gift shop (facing the hotel) which is metered parking. Go right of the shop, park at back, come back to the shop and pay to the lady on the counter.

Nothing great with manager's reception. Breakfast was regular. Never got a feeling of being in a luxury hotel. My favorite still remains Marriott.

If you wish to be near the falls, this could be a good bet. Incline railways is at foot of the hotel. It is a long walk to Cliffton hill/maid of the mist though. If you want to be near the happening place of Cliffton hills, there are many options available. Embassysuites was a good hotel, not sure it if worth the money.Always busy so watch out for service and security which may vary depending on how busy the hotel is!

Room Tip: 1. Go for rooms on floow 20th onwars if you want to overlook other hotels and get a better view. Avo...

Awesome hotel and location to the falls. The casino is close, the falls are super close, and the view is amazing. We opened the curtain to our fallsview room and there is a big old rainbow rising up from the Canadian falls!

We recently spent 3 nights here with our 2 teenage sons. We had a 2 queen bed fallsview suite on the 18th floor. The outside wall was one large window overlooking the falls. The room was clean and nicely furnished, with enough room for all of us.
The free breakfast in the morning is very good, although somewhat chaotic as this is a very large hotel. There are multiple serving lines, with a very large dining room which overlooks the falls.
The evening happy hour is ok, but more crowded. Easiest to just drop in, grab a drink and go up to your room.

Room Tip: spend the extra money on a falls view room
