“Fun for a walk through and a few attractions”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Yes, this is kitsch at perhaps its highest level, but nonetheless a fun experience. Walking up one side the street and down the other back down the hill will afford you with several picture opportunities without spending a dime. We bought Clifton Hill Fun Passes for 2 adults and 2 kids which was a really good deal. You can spend 2-3 hours going from attraction to attraction, all within a few steps of each other. Our kids (ages 6 and 9) really enjoyed the newly opened Wizard Golf. We also did Dinosaur Golf (Note - the pass includes one or the other, but not both). Wizard Golf is an indoor option if the weather isn't so good. The black lights throughout make for a fun experience. The wax museum is a bit cheesy, but you get a chance to take some cool pics with the Simpsons, Elvis, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and many others. At the end there is an optional pathway with some scary displays and twisty turns. Our 6 year old decided to brave it with me. By buying on line in advance our pass included 2 rides each on the skywheel (as opposed to just 1). A very good deal and you can do one in the day and one at night when the falls are illuminated for some great pics. Each pass also includes 5 tokens to spend in the Great Canadian Midway arcade. The FX ride is in the Midway building too and it quite bumpy so be forewarned. You are strapped in and there are handles, but still kind of rough and hard on the back. For the money, the Fun Pass is a great way to go to stretch your entertainment dollar. Have Fun!

“Fun ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

There are a lot of fun attractions there. We only experienced dinosaur golf, upside down house and wax hands but everything else looked fun! The staff were polite. But if you can't stand freezing water don't do the wax hands!

“Very Touristy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Huge tourist area where they are more than happy to help you spend your $$. Impressive when all lit up at night.
Be careful driving through because people get fixated on the scenery and walk everywhere without looking.

“Tourist trap, but I love it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

Clifton Hill is the epitome of tourist trap entertainment and I love it! There is every kind of crazy museum, fun house, haunted house, mini golf choice you can imagine. There are several package deals, but we opted for the Clifton Hills Fun Pass. The price was $25/adult and $19 for kids plus tax (about $8) and included the Ferris Wheel, Wizard golf (or dinosaur), Ghost Blasters Ride, 4D Extreme Movie Ride and the Movieland Wax Museum. It also included 5 tokens, which did not last very long but somehow we were in the arcade for 30 minutes! Including dinner at Boston Pizza (YUM!) we spent over 5 hours there. Everything down there is priced at $10+ and is actually worth about $5+ so the pass makes you feel like you can enjoy the cheese without spending too much money. The ferris wheel was neat, but not as close to the falls as it seems online. We enjoyed watching the golfers and the volcano erupt. Went on it at night and did not get as good a view on the falls as we would have liked. We got the second ferris wheel ride by buying on-line. If you buy it there, you just get one ride. The arcade games take 2-3 tokens each and the prizes are terrible, but if you know that ahead of time you can set limits and avoid disappointment. If you are not close to this area, expect to pay $15 for parking. The attendant at the lot we were in left at 10pm. Most attractions are open until 2am, so if you are late night folks you can save money by going late.

“Very Touristy - Nice Place to Walk in the Evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

Clifton Hill is the touristy section of Niagara Falls. There are many souvenir shops, wax museums, restaurants, etc. along the street. It is a very nice place to walk in the evening to look at all of the lights and shops. It was very fun to see all of the different things that Clifton Hill has to offer.
