Stayed in the handicapped room #209, room was very large
with a king sized bed, huge bathroom with a walk-in shower.
the room was very nice, however it had a desk and two
stackable chairs that was probably from a ballroom.
seems like the other rooms had rolling swivel executive
chair with the desk, not sure why this one had two cheap ones.
the room was so large, it needed a sofa or love seat
to fill a big open space next to the desk.
The bed was a pillow-top and was very comfortable,
wished the room had a safe for passports and papers.
The only complaint I have is the continental breakfast...
it is only from 7am to 9am and it's in a small room
next to the restaurant, they had no tables or chairs.
they had a nice spread of donuts, muffins, fresh fruit,
coffee, juices, etc....but no place to sit. why even bother?
some people were sitting in the hallway on the floor eating.
they either need to upgrade the continental breakfast to
a larger room with tables and chairs or discontinue it.
even the small economy chains have table and chairs.
The hotel is in a somewhat seedy and depressed area,
it gets better about 2 blocks from the hotel, walking towards
the falls. we did do alot of walking and still felt somewhat
safe in this area... would stay there again.
The parking was $8 a day and had many parking spots,
seems like a way to get extra revenue from tourists.

We booked this room for our wedding night. We had booked a King and were told we'd get 2 Queens when we arrived (Bait and switch...great). Being my wedding day I wasn't going to get worked up and ruin the day. I also was shocked to find there was a parking fee that we were not previously informed about. I tried to get our King back but they said it would be an additional charge (here I am standing in my wedding gown and they are trying to screw me). We got up to our room to find they had pulled, yet another, bait and switch. The beds were doubles. The room was clean but there was NO room to walk. The bathroom was tiny. I don't even know where I could've taken my gown off. It was so tiny. I went down stairs and asked for a refund. (I had JUST booked the hotel the night before). We were told there was a 72 hour cancellation policy (which, again, I was never told about). So we left. We went to the Quality Hotel in St. Catharines. They were amazing there. It did cost more but they did everything they could to minimize our cost and make up for the crappy service we got in the Falls.
I have contacted the manager of this location as well as head office and have NEVER received a response about my refund. If it hadn't been for the amazing staff at the St. Catharines location my wedding night would've been ruined. I would've ended up in my own bed at home crying over our ruined night.

We stayed in a room with two queen beds. The room was quite spacious and very clean. The beds are great and we had a wonderful night's sleep, despite the jetlag.
There was free internet access, as promised.
It is not the best part of town, but we never felt unsafe, not even at night, walking home from the falls.
It is about 20 min. walk to the falls and Clifton Hill, but that was not a problem as we did not want to stay at the Clifton Hill area (too loud and too much light).
Breakfast is rather poor, but there was enough for everyone. However they could do with an extra toaster.
If you book this hotel, ask to be placed in the tower and not in the motel section.

We weren't expecting the place to be fantastic, simply adequate. When we get there they inform us at the front desk that we will be getting one of the rooms in the motel like building complex next to the main hotel. They never indicated this when we made our online booking. In this area, there is not internet. If you want to get the internet, then you have to go to the lobby. The room itself was nice enough, good beds. The bathroom looked nice too, but there were many wate stains and flaking paint as well as a bit of mildew in various corners of the room that were less than appealing. The toilet immediately became clogged. This was fixed fairly promptly. When we checked out, they charged us an extra 8 USD for parking, something they never indicated when we made the booking, or when we checked in. The breakfast was also not very good. It consisted of small prepackaged muffins and mini croissants that cam from presealed containers, as well as various juices. Overall, it was very dissapointing.

Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff had everything prepared and were expecting us and therefore we didn't have to wait for them to assign us a room. The room was surprisingly very nice, clean and modern. I liked the fact that they didn't have all the lights on and the AC unit blasting - therefore conserving energy. It appears the hotel has been recently renovated as I wasn't expecting the modern decor and plasma tv, which showcased more than the usual "hotel packaged" channels. The bathroom was slightly smaller than expected but a reasonable size. We went to both the indoor and outdoor pools which aren't very big but clean as a kids filled pools can be. Unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn't working during our stay. It is located about 0.75 miles from the main shopping/restaurant strip, although they have some good restaurants nearby too. The staff was friendly and quick to service. Overall the hotel was clean, cozy and fresh with a updated modern feel. I would definitely stay here again.
