Stayed in the handicapped room #209, room was very large
with a king sized bed, huge bathroom with a walk-in shower.
the room was very nice, however it had a desk and two
stackable chairs that was probably from a ballroom.
seems like the other rooms had rolling swivel executive
chair with the desk, not sure why this one had two cheap ones.
the room was so large, it needed a sofa or love seat
to fill a big open space next to the desk.
The bed was a pillow-top and was very comfortable,
wished the room had a safe for passports and papers.
The only complaint I have is the continental breakfast...
it is only from 7am to 9am and it's in a small room
next to the restaurant, they had no tables or chairs.
they had a nice spread of donuts, muffins, fresh fruit,
coffee, juices, etc....but no place to sit. why even bother?
some people were sitting in the hallway on the floor eating.
they either need to upgrade the continental breakfast to
a larger room with tables and chairs or discontinue it.
even the small economy chains have table and chairs.
The hotel is in a somewhat seedy and depressed area,
it gets better about 2 blocks from the hotel, walking towards
the falls. we did do alot of walking and still felt somewhat
safe in this area... would stay there again.
The parking was $8 a day and had many parking spots,
seems like a way to get extra revenue from tourists.
