“Loved niagara fun tours”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

My boyfriend and I came on the wine tour just expecting a DD so we could sample some niagara wines, but ended up having a very entertaining day! Right from the beginning our driver Joe was full of stories and very engaging. Palatine Hills Estate was our favourite winery the sommelier there was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed his presentation! chocolate covered jube jubes were awesome from the chocolate FX. Overall it was a wonderful day and if you are fortunate enough to get Joe as your tour guide you will not be bored!!!

“beer and winery tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

What a great afternoon, we toured 3 microbreweries 2 wineries had a bonus stop and a chocolate factory trip. Loved the day however our tour of the chocolate factory was a no go (we did get about 10 rushed minutes to shop) because some people on our tour had to be dropped off early, The tour guide was trying to accommodate them which is a bonus for them but a bust for us as this was one of the features/stops we did want to see.. I do like the fact they did try to accommodate the other trip goers but do wish it had been mentioned prior to us paying getting on the bus as we might have signed on for another day. Other than that a perfect day! Well worth the money and hoping to do the winery tour in the summer!

“A lot of fun but a little long”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

My fiance and I used a voucher to get this trip at a discounted rate. It was a great value for what we paid. It was nice to have a driver so you do not have to worry about having a Designated Driver in your group. Our driver Joe was great and made the trip entertaining.
The wineries were all different. The first was like a pole barn, the second an elegant villa, the third a dining room and the final one your typical long tasting bar you would expect to see. At 3 of the stops, the winery chooses your samples for you. At the last, you get to select your own. The pre selected wine makes sense when you have a group of 48 people to serve. I feel some of the stops could have been shortened. The first stop took almost an hour and it felt like forever. The tour was 5 hours and I think it should be cut to 4 hours. The final stop is a chocolate factory. This is nice because it gives everyone a chance to sober up before getting back into their own vehicle. There is also a stop at a local grocery store owned by the 3rd winery. They allow you to make your purchase and then eat your food while having your wine samples. It's a nice set up and something you would not have the opportunity to do if you were traveling on your own.
If you haven't been to NOTL wineries, this tour is a great way to experience it!

“winter ice wine tour was great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Had really nice time on Niagara Fun tours Ice wine tour. The tour lasted about 5 hours we visited four wineries and a chocolate factory. Lunch was not included, but a stop was made at a local farm market to pick up a bite and one of the wineries provided a room for the tour to eat.
Unfortunately their wine was not the best. The other three though were very good. Our driver Joe was wonderful, provided a lot of information on local history and the wine industry in the area. We were fortunate that we took the tour on Friday, we had a mini bus with only about 18 people. On Saturday the tour was sold out with 48 people. The chocolate factory wasn't great but it made an interesting end to the day.
