“great family values!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2003

I just came across this website and, as there is not a fair representation of this hotel, i felt compelled to write one. My family and i stayed at the Days Inn Lundys Lane in August 2003 and had one of the best vacations of our lives. We chose the hotel because of the exceptional rates and great childrens facilities (they even have a miniture golf course right on-site!). I would recommend this location to anyone on a budget, or anyone not wanting to pay the outrageous rates most of the chain hotels charge in Niagara Falls. It is a very clean, well-kept hotel with a very friendly staff. My wife was leary about staying a little further from the 'downtown' area, but the shuttle service and the great kids amenties more than made up for that.
We stayed on a package and received a absolutely wonderful dinner at Remingtons of Montana... one of the best restaurants i've visited in the area, and definately one i'll be heading back to on my next trip to Niagara Falls. I can almost taste the lobster now!

We just got back from The Comfort Inn, Lundys Lane, we stayed there because we've had great service from Comfort Inn at other locations...well not here.

On check in the receptionist was rude, and overcharged my credit card.
Following that, we went to our rooms, I booked 2 to be joining, and they werent! although we did have an adjoining room to someone else who were extremely noisy and managed to keep us awake ost of the night. But the most important thing to us was the smoking. I told them of my need for a no smoking room, this is due to health problems and the smoke from just one cigarette can cause breathign difficulty. Well, we were ok, as long as we stayed in the room and didnt open the door. The hotel stunk of smoke, as did our clothes by the time we left! people smoke in the main hallways and on the exit hallway. I told the staff I would never stay there again, and was basically told 'tough', 'your room is non-smoking as requested, thats all we can guarentee, we cant stop people smoking anywhere else'including the hallways on a non smoking floor.

So there you go, if your a smoker, then this is the place for you, if youre not, then dont be misled into believing youre paying a high price for non smoking. We paid a lot of money for this place and could have stayed elsewhere for half the price.... They let the Comfort Inn chain down... and I would NEVER stay again.

My husband and I took our kids to the falls for three days in August.
We had to make sure that where we stayed had a pool(our kids love to swim). The clorine in the pool was so strong that our eyes and skin were burning. As soon as you walk into the pool area you feel suffocated. I couldn't sleep with the airconditioning on because it was so loud. The staff is very friendly though. I would recommend this hotel if your not looking for a pool or if it's winter and you don't need airconditioning.

We were put in the motor area, park your car out front and we were on the second floor. The room was shabby and the bathroom didn't have a door, just one of those closet closers. When we made the reservation we thought we'd be in the hotel area but were quite disappointed not to be considering what we paid. We of course tried to make the most of it but the heater didn't work! The maintainence man came up an hour after putting in the complaint, he worked on it for about 10 minutes all the while spraying WD40 which the fumes of made me ill. He couldn't get it to work and informed us he'll be back within the 1/2 hour to try again. We were shivering. When he did return he worked on it some more and a little bit of heat came through so he thought his job was done. He said sorry for the inconvience and to make up for it he offered free porno channels. Goodness me, how disgusting! An hour later, we were still shivering, and called the front desk to inform them that we were leaving because we were cold. They then put us up in a room in the hotel section on the 5th floor overlooking the rear parking lot. The room was big, nicely furnished and warm, which is what we should have had in the first place.
