“Awesome hotel in downtown Niagara Falls”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

This place is awesome. Free breakfast, parking and Wifi. We stayed here to go to Fallsview Waterpark.

The staff was so accommodating and helpful. Maintenace staff brought a fridge to our room soon after we checked in.

There was a nice variety at breakfast. There was coffee, tea and a microwave available in the lobby area.

Pool area is a little small and we found the chemicals kind of strong. The hot tub was too hot for our liking (105).

Walking distance to Clifton Hill.

Short walk to the Water Park and was much cheaper the Great Wolf Lodge.

Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Room on ground floor are very convenient to the pool and the breakfast area.

Free breakfast buffet, free parking & free Wifi. All included in the nightly rate - not to mention for you who enjoy their caffeine, complimentary coffee is available all day.

It does smell like "pool" but that's because they have a pool in the atrium. It is very small, my two year old called it a "puddle". I assume most people who stay here are going to the Waterpark anyway.

It is dated, but the rooms are clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is AMAZING (I can't believe reviewers haven't mentioned you can MAKE YOUR OWN FRESH WAFFLES!!) It goes from 7am-9am (9:30ish). If they run out of something, just ask the staff replenishing and they will bring out the item for you. There is oatmeal, bagels, english muffins, eggs, sausage patties, yogurt, cold cereal, coffee, juices, tea... definitely a good and hearty breakfast.

We booked a holiday package deal that got us entrance to the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark and a booklet for free mini golf, kids eat free at Perkins, etc. In total for a family of 4, after taxes, we paid $210. And the Chuck E Cheese type entertainment "Adventure City" isn't bad - the kids were happy with their trinkets and, as parents, we didn't have to pay for a lot of tokens to get them.

It was FREEZING when we went, which isn't fun when you have to walk outdoors to the waterpark BUT it is a short walk from the hotel to the underground parking lot and our kids are 2 and 6 so they walk well on their own. We got a big locker and shoved all our coats, etc in there, but you could have just as easily found a corner in the waterpark to put all the coats on a chair. The trade off savings vs the short walk in the cold was still worth it. You save parking costs at the other affiliated hotels & the nightly rate. PLUS you get free breakfast (again, SO worth it alone!!)

Room Tip: It's true what other reviewers say - if you don't like noise, ask for a room facing outside...

We reserved two rooms - one standard and one suite. Upon arrival we asked if the rooms could be on the same floor. We were given rooms side by side and were pleasantly surprised when we discovered both rooms were suites. We purchased the "package" which included passes to the the Fallsview Waterpark and Adventure City. There were 6 in our group, so this made it worth while. We didn't use the kids eat free coupons or the dessert coupon as were chose to eat in cheaper places. . . Upon check in, the staff were great explaining the coupon book and how things worked.

The rooms were average, but clean. The parking was free, the internet was free and great breakfast was available. The room did have a fridge and coffee maker. We found the breakfast area to get very busy after 8am and didn't slow down until it closed. Some people had to take food back to their room as no tables or chairs were available. The pool and hot tub looked great, but we were too busy to use.

The breakfast was great with a waffle station (very busy - 4 waffle makers, but always a line up) Eggs, ham, sausage, cereal, toast, bagels, yoghurt, coffe tea, juices, milk, and a few things I likely missed.

No real complaints about this hotel. The walk to the water park would not have been too bad if the temperature was not -17!! it is only about a block away. However, you still needed to bundle up to make the journey.

Our daughter forgot her favorite pillow and she called them as soon as she realized she left it behind. We went back the next day and they had it at the front desk waiting for her.

If taking the grandkids again we would likely stay here. The location is wonderful - right at the top of Clifton Hill.

We did not order room service, but had to rate it in order to post review.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. We stayed in the room with a hot tub. The room was a little dated, but I wasn't there as a room inspector! LOL It was reasonably clean. You have to get a cart and take the small elevator up with your luggage. If I was older and not capable then I would not really be impressed. The elevator was small and sometimes had to wait a bit as there were too many people on it. If someone did have a luggage cart on it then for sure there was no room for anyone else. The location of the hotel is great, nice and close to many attractions!

Hello,

We took the Falls view Waterpark package from Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls Hotel! They gave us lot of things to do in the package including, 4 waterpark entry tickets, Magic Show (4 tickets), Bumper cars (4 tickets), Mini Golfing (4 tickets), and more...We booked the 2 bedroom family room and it had lot of space for all of us....there was also complementary free breakfast in the morning which included everything from cereal, waffle, eggs, bagels, tea, coffee, juices...full breakfast...we stayed in room 312 and we had a great stay and the staff was very friendly for sure. So I would recommend this hotel to anyone and it was very close to all attractions.

I stayed at the Clifton Victoria Inn for one night on Dec. 14, two adults and two kids in the room. We all enjoyed our stay, the room was nice and clean, the staff very helpful and polite, good location, good price, what else can you ask for....... I would go back to the hotel for sure.

This hotel used to be a Hampton Inn. It has decent, clean rooms with a free breakfast buffet in the morning. Price is lower than the surrounding hotels, so that's a plus. The only reason you would choose this hotel in Niagara is to be near the Fallsview Waterpark, its a bit too far from the Falls themselves.

The Clifton Victoria has good package deals that include discounts at local restaurants and free mini-golf/arcades etc. for the kids. We went on Christmas day with a Wagjag Jaunt deal. Our wait was nearly an hour at the front desk - though the staff said that was irregular due to the busy season. Once checked in, we put on bathing suits with clothes/jackets overtop to walk outside to get to the waterpark - and then changed there to use the slides. That is a big inconvenience. The Skyline across the street is a bit more money, but has a heated bridge that you can use to walk from your room to the park in your shorts! So we probably will not stay here again. Its not terrible, just an inconvenience.

Room Tip: Choose room facing outside if possible; rooms facing the indoor pool and lobby are very loud at nigh...
