“What a treat!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

My husband and I drove from GA for our first trip to Niagara Falls (we're in our late 60s). The entire trip was pleasant, but the view of Horseshoe Falls from room #1336 was awesome. We could almost feel the spray. We booked directly through the Radisson by way of Kayak.com. The rate dropped before our stay; we called and got the lesser rate. Except for a key glitch, our stay was great. The staff is very attentive and hospitable. Our room was excellent.... clean, nicely decorated with all kinds of amenities. The hotel is well situated for walking to most of the sites, restaurants and casino. Tony Roma's is in the lobby. We enjoyed drinks at the bar talking with other vacationers from all over the world. We found the Canadian people to be relaxed and happy. Definitely would return.

Room Tip: Our view was blocked slightly by the Marriott so try to get rooms in the tower that end in 38 and ab...

My husband booked us a surprise trip for my 50th birthday. He booked a fallsview room, and when the desk clerk said it was Room 440, I was skeptical because of the lower floor. Boy, was I surprised when we walked in! Gorgeous view...stared out the window for 4 days when we were in our room. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the valet guys were fantastic in helping us park! Housekeeping was an issue, when we arrived there was a used towel hanging on bathroom door, a used bar of soap was in the shower and the coffee pot still had a used coffee "pod" in it. The rest of the 4 day trip the room was always cleaned ok, although they didn't throw our used pop bottles and paper coffee cups away. But, we will defintely return. Great hotel for a great price with a great view.

The esposa and I stayed here for two nights. We were in room 1634, which had a semi-obstructed (by the hotel in front) but very impressive view of the horseshoe falls. We paid an extra 30 bucks a night for this room, after booking thru Amtrak travel. It was worth it. The view was great. The rooms are very large for a traditional king bed room--not exactly what I would call a suite, but roomy enough. Pretty good WiFi, which is free, but that is an area that needs improvement. Everyone travelling internationally needs WiFi because cell plans are so expensive. At least it's free here. The staff was overwhelmed at the front desk/concierge area every afternoon. It's a big property, and there's a lot of check-ins then. But, if you go down after dinner-time or in the morning, it's perfectly serene. And the front desk staff does a great job! Very friendly and very helpful. For us vegetarians, Niagara Falls was disappointing. The hotel has a Tony Roma Steakhouse in the lobby (good room service, though), which was of no interest for our meals. Try Zappi's pizza behind the hotel: very very good pizza and a great staff. We slept great in the quiet room even though there were some dudes next door, whose noise we could hear in the hall, but not in our room. Nice clean pool and very nice workout facility. Great views and good location. We would return if we returned to Niagara Falls. That's saying something. We would go back. If you are the management, you don't need to reply to this review. Other travelers are always welcome to look for my video reviews under the hotel name and my name here on youtube. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about my review, if you are another traveler.

Room Tip: Cheaper breakfast can be found in the nearby Starbucks.

After arriving we were given our room which was a 2 storey suite on the 1st floor with a view of the parking lot and restaurant right beside us (downside) Front desk was very friendly and checked us in quickly. Our room was clean and spacious, loved the set up. There was a microwave, fridge and sink which was a great touch. Valet was quick and seemed well organized only had to wait a bit for our van. My only complaint with the whole experience was the pull out couch. The mattress was absolutely horrible, it was thin and you could feel the springs so we pushed the bed back in and my son who is 5 10 had to sleep on the couch which was very uncomfortable and we had to put 3 in the downstairs bed, so if your needing that pull out bed you may want to have another option. The only other downside, a little further from the falls than expected, other than that an overall good experience.

I rented two rooms for a two day stay. My wife and I in one room and 4 teenagers in the other. The two queen bedrooms facing the falls were very clean, comfortable and provided a nice large sitting area near a huge bay-like window to enjoy the view. Admittedly, you probably get a better view from the rooms in the neighboring hotels, but we spent a full day close to the Falls, so the extra costs of the other hotels was simply not worth it. In addition, we were on the fourth floor, which still provided a great view, so I can imagine that the rooms on the higher floors provide a better view.

The staff from the parking attendants to the front desk and even the house keeping staff were all very friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed to enjoy serving customers. Anne Tobey at the front desk was particularly helpful in planning our day of visiting the Falls attractions.

The kids enjoyed the pool as well.

The hotel is connected to Tony Roma's which serves a breakfast buffet. You can walk a few minutes and do much better. The staff at Roma's was super nice, but the eggs were just tasteless.

Overall, we all very much enjoyed our stay at the Radisson
