“Pricey Nice Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

It was an anniversary celebration to go to Niagara Falls when other plans we had considered just didn't work out due to logistics and timing, so we did something we'd never otherwise do. As I was shocked by the price, I was reminded that Niagara Falls is one of the seven wonders of the world, so I guess it makes sense that it should be expensive.

Our room (a king deluxe suite) had a lovely view, from the 21st floor, of both the American and Canadian falls. Nice fireplace, good bed, clean bathroom, so all in all, a really positive, nice place to stay.

Tip for others who might be looking for something a tad more romantic -- pay the $10.00 for valet parking. It's seriously worth it. Parking is a relatively long way away, and I was gone long enough to have toured the falls looking for parking in the parkade, and finding my way back. Frankly, the $10.00 would have worked out to a very modest amount given my time.

Fantastic Views of the Falls! Hotel in prime location. Check in was really slow. Front desk staff was very professional. Very romantic if you have a high floor room with direct view of the falls. Spa services was nice. The Concierge was fantastic with suggestions and making reservations for us outside of the hotel for dining.

Room Tip: Great restaurant for BBQ Ribs in walking distance. Montana's.

The Views are beautiful and the location is perfect but this is one poorly managed hotel.
The Club Level lounge was a mess and the continental breakfast and evening appetizers were nothing exciting are were always empty. The evening wine tasting at the Lobby Lounge was the same. The appetizers were empty after 10 minutes and we were told that they are not refilled. Drinks are prepared with only 1 oz of alcohol as listed on the menu. The Fallsview breakfast buffet was also not refilled on a regular basis and both the food and service was sub par. Our dinner at Window's by Jamie Kennedy was not good. The short ribs were very tough and the rest of the food marginal. Don't go there even with the $40 off coupon they give you.
The room was nice and the bed comfortable. It could have been cleaner. The stray hairs in the bathroom in various areas was gross and the face of the counter is clearly never wiped down.
The staff really needs to be trained especially at the Lobby Lounge and Fallsview Restaurant.
Also, be careful with the packages. Ours came with the Wine Tour and the Wine Tasting party at the Lobby Lounge but the bartenders at the lounge told us that was no longer included. It was eventually taken care of but all the confusion put a damper on our evening.
This is a beautiful hotel with a perfect location. Too bad it is managed so poorly.

Room Tip: Be specific about the view. We booked a two story suite with floor to ceiling windows on the falls s...

Sheraton on the Falls is an amazing hotel! Not only did I get an amazing room during my stay but I was helped by the very friendly Suki. I wanted a room upgrade and Suki gladly accommodated my request. The rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly as well. Also, it has the perfect location close to all bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to my next stay.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in September. When we checked in and told them what we were celebrating they made sure we got a beautiful room with an incredible view of the falls on the 20th floor.
The hotel is perfectly located so we were able to park our car and walk everywhere we wanted to go. We purchased the couples package which included some gift cards for a few restaurants as well as the spa. We received a free bus pass in the couples package too, which we did use one of the days. Neither of us are Buffet fans but had breakfast at the Fallsview Rest. just for the view. We were actually very pleasantly surprised, the food was wonderful. Everything was fresh and you could even have an omelets, pancakes, or waffles made to your preference in front of you. That evening we returned to the Jamie Kennedy Restaurant (which is the same room as the Fallsview Rest. but in the evening becomes an upscale restaurant) since a gift card for it came with the couples package as well. We are also not fans of fancy stuffy restaurants which you usually leave still hungry with an empty wallet, but again were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious. We were seated in a little corner table by ourselves and had a delightful romantic dinner with a magnificent view of the falls. Our waitress was incredible and recommended the perfect dishes for us to try. I couldn't have asked for a better experience to celebrate. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. The worst part of the weekend was not having enough time to do everything, but we sure tried. Thanks for making our weekend one to remember!

Room Tip: The higher to room the better the view of the falls. Try to get a room higher than 12, it will be w...

Especially romantic if you and your significant other get a room on a high floor and can see the falls from the bathtub! Restaurant's breakfast buffet is also very good, you won't leave there unsatisfied.

I have always found the staff there to be attentive and very helpful! The hotel itself is in a prime location and steps away from the Fallsview Casino and the prime observation points of Niagara Falls itself.

Great hotel to stay at!
