“Best View of the Falls!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

If you are visiting in the winter, this is the place to go! From your nice, toasty warm room, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Horseshoe Falls and a pretty nice view of the American Falls too. The staff is excellent and the location is extremely convenient to food and the casino.

One note - LEAVE yourself plenty of time to get your car from valet as those guys are crazy busy especially at the height of check-out time!

Room Tip: All rooms have falls views - higher floor gets you a better view!

Let’s get one thing straight – the view is not the hotel. The view I cannot fault but Mother Nature put it there not the Marriott. There are some hotels that because of their location, feel they do not need to try too hard. In fact this one goes a step further and has forgotten the basic principles of hospitality. When a guest is tired and hungry, would it kill them to put a biscuit in the room – I mean really? One tea bag. Bottled water at $6.99. No minibar. Dated décor. A Starbucks franchise in the lobby – I mean ye gods, a Starbucks! Are you kidding me? So that's the deal - they save on snacks in the room costs by using a Starbucks Franchise instead. And then only until 9pm when the rip off in-room dining is your only option – prices shown are before service charge and tax and fee. Fee is for ‘the promotion of the falls’ – fireworks and up-keep I was told.
Marriott policy makers need to get on the case here – and I mean more than Jeremy Brown’s meaningless stock responses to customers' bad experiences.
As for the spa, forget it: it’s a building site. The fitness room is small and lacking much equipment. The pool has no changing room, you have to brave the corridors in your swimwear or change in the loo. I sat in the pool dismayed and disbelieving. Everything about the place is tired, rusty or inadequate when the adverts for it promise something of a world class experience. Ha! If you're already booked, I pray you will find a better experience than mine. Oh and it's not the only hotel with a great view believe me. I have stayed in some superb hotels across the world, this is so not one of them!

We're sorry to hear that your experience did not exceed the expectations you have for Marriott. Our goal is to provide each guest with a memorable stay and I understand how the issues experienced resulted in you not feeling this way. We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing our hotel.

Our room had a great view of the falls. We asked for and were moved to a higher floor.
On site parking cost too much. We parked at the casino to save a couple bucks. Nice walk at zero degrees. My wife enjoyed the spa. Must make reservations early to get in when you want.

This hotel has a great view! Make sure you ask for fallsview above the 10th floor.
There's only one restaurant, but more are within walking distance. There's even a Starbucks in the lobby. Take the skywalk over to even more activities.

Stayed at this hotel during March Break and took their Casino package deal. It was $229 for the night - we had a falls view room with King and Jacuzzi tub. Bathroom was very spacious and had a private area for the toilet , which was nice. I was quite pleased with the package deal as you got $50 per night at the casino, two buffet breakfast each morning ($40 value), $40 voucher for their restaurant and 48 hour passes for the buses. So overall, I thought this was good value. What I didn't like was $35 for parking per day and no free wifi in room, just in the lobby. This is 2015, so I thought this was a little old school. But the staff and service was excellent.

Room Tip: Go for the Falls view rooms. We were only on the 8th floor and it was still a remarkable view of the...

My wife and I stayed here on 3/19/2015 to 3/21/2015 and by way of Groupon. This is a full-service Marriott hotel with valet parking, bellhops and the whole 9 yards. Front desk service was spot on. The hotel itself was very elegant looking and well maintained. the views of the falls are great from the lobby, great for selfies and other types of pictures.

We stayed on the 5th Floor and the views of the falls were not as good as higher floors.
It appears that our room was converted from 2 queen /full size beds to a king room and the mattress was actually a king top type mattress. It was still comfortable.

We were given a Jacuzzi room with a falls view even though our Groupon deal was for a river view room with no Jacuzzi, so we were happy with the upgrade.

The parking is extra and the cost was $35 CAD per night and with tips can easily cost nearly $40. There are other local lots that charge less and are within walking distance

Across the street the OK Gift shop offers overnight parking for $10 CAD per night. At the corner behind the Marineland sign a portion of the parking lot is operated by the Comfort Inn across the street and is attended and is $20 CAD overnight to 12 Noon the next day.

We had coupons for free breakfast at the FallsView restaurant in the Hotel, which was buffet style and a chef cooking (made to order) omelettes and a discount on dinner (which was a bit pricey even with the $40 CAD off coupon). And I found the service a bit slow.

A word of caution I had the made to order omelette and half way through it made me a bit nauseous, so I stopped eating it. The next day my wife had one and later she had stomach issues and had her in the bathroom most of the rest of the day. Maybe a coincidence, just saying.

Overall the service was great, the location is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for the highers floors to get a better view of the falls
