“Good value before Christmas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

We stayed at this hotel before Christmas. It was great. Reasonable rates, good location for restaurants and the view of the Falls was awesome. It was very misty this year but we could still see some fireworks and lights on the American Falls. It was still fabulous to see the Horseshoe Falls in the evening and the morning. What a nice treat from our 31st floor room. We did not use the Internet as it was an extra charge. We didn't eat at Milestones and there are plenty of other dining options. Beds were great and the room was well laid out and spacious.

I stayed one night in this very nice, centrally located hotel in a clean, albeit dated room with great views of the Falls, a comfy bed and a spa bathroom.

I had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and both were very nice.

Very good.

Stayed here last night and had a great time. All of the hotel was cry clean and everyone was accommodating. Check in was very easy and given with a smile! The room was very clean and the towels and sheets seemed brand new. I don't usually walk barefoot in any hotel room but I did here in this room! Awesome! Will definitely come back soon and have a room booked for the new year!

We have stayed here 1 night last week during our stay in Toronto. We are Marriott Platinum members and stay in Marriott's (and other hotels) all over the world a 100++ nights a year. So we know what we are talking about! We checked in and were given a room at their top-floor. No uprade was given. When we came in the room the beds looked someone had been slept in it, towels were thrown in the bathroom like the maid had no interest in working in this hotel! Overall very old-fashioned looking room, dirty carpet etc. I was crying and said to my husband that I was not going to stay here. We asked for another room and for a CAN 100,00 more we could spend the night in their Niagara suite. Same things here. Not a nice room. But we took it for granted. As elite members we were given vouchers for their hors d'oeuvres in their executive lounge. What a deception this was!!! We came in 10 minutes for their closing at 7.20 pm and their buffet wa sa mess!!! Nothing there anymore, just some chunks of old cheese and a hot snack. And for our 7 year old daughter we had to pay an extra CAN 5,00 to use the buffet!!! And there was nothing on the buffet?! How in the world you pay CAN 5,00 for something there isn't??? The lady asked us what we would like to drink and we asked for a wine and a beer. After the 2nd round she came up with a bill from CAN 45,00....We were confused....If she had told us that we had to pay for alcoholic beverages it was fine (we would have taken it anyway) but this was a big shocking surprise. We know in a lot of hotels you pay for alcohol in their lounges but there is always a sign or some-one that says it! After a sleepless night fulll of noise from their elevators we were having breakfast. The server was great!! But all their cups, plates etc were very, very dirty!! No atmosphere what so ever in this hotel!! Waiting for our car to be picked up by valet took a long, long time! And it was not busy at all!!! When the lady at the frontdesk asked about our stay my husband told her about the noise (he went down during the night as well) she never said "I am sorry"! At that point my husband exploded and wanted a proper excuses from some-one!!! I forgot to mention that there was construction going on in their lobby area and the elevators smelled of mold and pool!!! Never ever agin in this dirty, atmosphere-less hotel!!

Nothing beats the view, service and overall feel. The gym and pool is pretty nice. the room service is pretty great too. Especially the desserts! Nothing better in the area ive stayed at manyy different ones here but this is the best. Pay extra for the view, its worth it.

Very nice and clean hotel. Our room was amazing with a jacuzzi and a spectacular view of the falls. It was definitely worth the price. However, I thought the parking was over-priced at $35 per night for valet and self-parked. Fallsview Casino was charging $5 for self-parked and $10 for valet. The restaurant (Terrapin) does not have too many choices on the menu and the quality of the food was below my expectation. If it was not for the $40 restaurant credit, we would have gone to other restaurants outside of the hotel.
I will definitely come back to Marriott but I will park and dine elsewhere though.

Room Tip: Definitely get a room with a falls view.

We spent a night at this fantastic hotel friday december 19, we purchased a travelzoo package.
The staff was absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The room was amazing we had a jacuzzi fallsview and definitely worth the pennies to upgrade, spectacular view they had 2 chairs set right infront of the window and we watched the fireworks infront of the fireplace !!!!!
The room was spotless, the bathroom was beautiful, i guess if i had one complaint it would be that the shower head did not detatch (which i may be the only one who likes this) but that is a stretch if i am looking for something to complain about :). we had dinner at the terrapin grille which i think is a hidden gem we have been to 5* steak restaurants and the steak here was much better, cooked to perfection and very tasty, our waitress was amazing super friendly and the decor was elegant and quiet. The location is perfect. We had an amazing time and will definetly go back.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra go high you wont regret it, the view is amazing and does not cost much more

Green Features: I was impressed to see a blue bin for recycle right in the room
