“Fun at the falls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We only stayed 2 nights but we found the Hotel to be clean, friendly, and great food. We had and amazing view of the falls and watched the fireworks from our room on Friday night. The hotel is in a great location close to the falls and some other attractions.

Room Tip: Try to get on a higher floor to get the best view of the falls.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We were on the 15th floor and the room was nice and clean, big jacuzzi bath but small shower. Couldn't ask for a better view with the horseshoe falls right in front of the window. Difficult to take pictures as window was dirty and it only opened 3 or 4 inches! I suppose that is to stop you jumping out! It is a pity that there is only one chair in front of the window, there is plenty of room for two and should have been as room is for two.
The hotel is very expensive. I suppose you are paying a high premium for that view, but room was $600 and they charge extra for everything, $35 per night parking, $6 a night for slow wifi and $6.95 for a bottle of water, WOW! Drank tap water instead.
Breakfast was included but not much choice and had to tip everything which makes it all very much more expensive than you realise.
Overall ok but they know how to charge the tourists big time.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary with a trip to Niagara Falls and a stay at the Marriott Fallsview. The staff was wonderful-very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was spectacular. We couldn't ask for a better location. Great view of the Falls and beautiful sunrises. Would definitely stay here again if we ever get the chance to visit a second time.

As a well travelled person I have never received such bad service checking in. Upon arriving we was immediately asked to pay more money "for a nicer falls view'" as we had already paid extra for a falls view we decided not to, we went to our room and was immediately very disappointed with the view hidden behind trees. I went back down to the guy who checked us in justin amazing as he likes to call himself. I expressed my disappointment at the room, to which his response was that "he offered us to pay extra for a high floor and then smiled and said that room had now gone and we couldn't move anywhere as all the rooms were full. Next morning I asked housekeeping if hotel was full and was told no there was plenty of rooms. How very disappointing, After looking forward to this trip for so long and having a long day travelling it really ruined our stay. During the summer we have stayed in lots of hotels were the customer service was excellent so sad that Marriott allow this level of customer service.

The views from the rooms are pretty unbeatable and exceptional. The hotel itself though is very average. The common areas are ok, but the room was very faded and dated. One of the few major hotels I have been to where the room was not very clean. Breakfast in the restaurant was very average, in line with the rest of the experience. Service was again nothing special. Overall, would avoid unless you are willing to compromise a bit for the view.

We booked a stay with a travel zoo voucher on October 24th. Check-in was a breeze only one person ahead of me in line. We were able to pay for an upgrade. We received our room at 1 pm even though check-in time is 3. I called twice to ask questions and both calls were answered by the 2nd ring and had answers to both of my questions. Our room included free wifi. Signal was good. We were on the 12th floor and had a clear view of both falls. Yes the rooms are dated but most hotel rooms are. Nothing was damaged and the room was fairly clean. Some hairs under the top mattress but otherwise no problems. Coffee maker in the room. Our room was very quiet. The elevators were fast. On site restaurant had great food but was expensive however so are most onsite restsurants. Not very high up so not the best view. We had a very relaxing time and would love to go back.
