“Breathtaking View and a Wonderful stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Fallsview, the view was absolutely breathtaking. I have heard the Marriott view is almost as good as embassy suites (which is voted as the best view of both the falls). It was the first time we have stayed in Niagara falls in the winter time and the view looked like something out of Narnia. We stayed in the 9th floor.
The hotel rooms were clean and the washrooms were well maintained.
One advice would be to take your own water as the water in the rooms were priced at a whopping $6.95. Also try book through a groupon site as the rates tend to be way cheap than booking through Marriott or a website like hotels.com

Room Tip: The hotel is up on a hill so even the 2nd floor restaurant has a great view, so any room above that...

Could not of asked for a better weekend, We arrived Friday night for a Romantic Christmas. Upgraded our room for $20 to a 18th Floor Junior Suite, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The view from the room was breathtaking we could of just sat and stared at it all day. We had breakfast buffet vouchers for both days, buffet was ok nothing spectacular. Ate in the inhouse restaurant using a voucher as well, Dinner was delicious and staff was incredibly friendly and willing to answer our tourist questions. We will be staying here again next year!

Amazing views of the falls at this hotel.

When I checked in, opened my window and had a perfect view of both falls (Canadian and US). The festival of lights was also very decorative.

Stayed in a jacussi room, the tub the room everything was fully clean.

Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, again nice views of the falls. If your making reservations for the restaurant ask to get a table close to the window and not in a booth or at the back as you won't be able to enjoy the magnificant views.

Breakfast buffet was amazing, lots of choices, hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, fresh granola, and best of all custom omlets.

Room Tip: Jacussi room

The view from our room took my breathe away, we stayed for two nights & saw many different faces of the falls.
The room was clean, tidy & comfortable. There were three of us sharing & my only problem was that there wasn't enough surface area to put out our personal belongings....not much of a problem I know, but a little annoying when you're looking for somewhere to put your things.
The walkway from the hotel to the falls was closed off which meant quite a long winded walk each day; I think anybody with mobility issues should be wary as I suspect even with the walkway open it will still be quite a lengthy walk; downhill on the way but uphill coming back!
To summarise, if the walk doesn't bother you, choose this hotel, you won't be sorry when you see the view!

Room Tip: We have seen the fall in Summer & Winter; Summer = more water thundering down the falls...

We checked into this hotel after having a bad experience at another one we were staying at. For their busiest season they were EXCEPTIONALLY accommodating and we got the room we asked for at the very top right in front of the falls, with Concierge Service- even though we booked it on the very day we arrived. We ended up extending our trip for three extra days we loved it so much!
I don't even know where to start! The customer service, the concierge service, the wonderful treats in the concierge room that came complimentary, the pool, the valet service, the view from our room was breathtaking and absolutely stunning, the recommendations for restaurants and sights to see, the free shuttle service, the discounts we got with our room key at attractions throughout the falls, the rooms, the luxury of the entire place, the BEDS. The beds are to DIE for and we went to Sleep Country when we got back home and bought the exact same bed that the Marriott uses :D
I was waited on hand and foot and trust me-as a mother of five this was absolutely beautiful to me.
I have become a Marriott fan and whenever I travel I will only go to Marriott.
The only thing that I was disappointed about was that they could not fit me into the spa but can you blame them? It was July- the busiest season so that is not any fault of theirs at all, and they recommended a fabulous one to me which I enjoyed immensely. They even called for me to make the appointment and it was even in another hotel! Amazing!

We were shepherding a rather large group - 5 kids (none older than 7) and 3 adults. Needless to say the kids were a handful. Very pleasantly surprised by the service from start to finish despite the frequent chaos resulting from the kids.

The rooms were great - we got a much better view than we had bargained for and could see the falls quite well and quite spacious.

A special commendation to the folks at the Terrapin Grill, particularly the maitre d', whose name escapes me. He was absolutely remarkable and extremely helpful with the panoply of kids - far and above anything I would expect.

Lovely views from our window on 9th floor towards Falls. Disappointed that you could'nt get WiFi in your room free. Only in the Lobby was it free. All other Hotels we stayed in and some were not as grand as the Marriott had it in the room. But apart from that and being difficult to get to the Falls in January because of the snow. It was a good stay.
