Brad and Rhoda--the owners--offer up fantastic fare at this neighborhood haunt in Niagara Falls. Removed from the touristy area, the food is freshly prepared and served with a smile. With multiple different topping choices, plenty of hot sauces to choose from, and choices aplenty, one cannot go wrong here. The fish tacos (my favorite) were light and tasty; the beef is braised all day long and has a tasty, not heavy feel; and the pork filling is equally satisfying. The joint has burritos (their specialty), tacos, quesadillas, and salads. The service was commendable, and we call ourselves lucky to be locals to enjoy Frijoles on a routine basis. Definitely worth a visit!

I would consider this place to be average. From a value standpoint, below average. I always seem to spend over ten dollars and leave unfulfilled. I was very excited to have a mexican restaurant coming to the city. Have'nt been able to satisfy my mexican craving since moving home from cities with great authentic mexican or just fantastic burritos and fresh tacos. Frijoles only partially satisfies that craving.I certainly wouldnt rank this establishment as a top 5 or perhaps even top 10 eatery in Niagara Falls.

Exceptional burritos 'built' with fresh ingredients and variety of sauces you choose. We were pleasantly surprised how tasty the food was; being from Chicago we have many Mex places, and this was much better! Highly recommend.

I highly recommend the Taco TRIO, I have never had anything else here but I have had the Trio a half dozen times and it is superb. This is the real deal! They really care about freshness and quality. If you are familiar with Baja Fresh in the US, you'll love this place.
My only complaint...they play old surfin' music constantly...too loud....it gets old fast.
